Ambushes by Palestinian Resistance in Salfit described as 'dangerous'
Israeli media claim Palestinian Resistance fighters ambushed settler vehicles near Salfit and then showered two vehicles with gunfire.
Israeli media reported on Sunday that an ambush by the Palestinian Resistance near the city of Salfit in the occupied West Bank targeted two settler vehicles.
In detail, the Israeli Channel 14 reported that Resistance fighters set up spike barriers on a settlement road on Route 5, near the town of al-Zawiya in the Salfit Governorate in the northern West Bank.
The Israeli channel mentioned that Palestinian fighters ambushed settler vehicles and then showered two vehicles with gunfire, adding that three other vehicles were struck by spikes.
According to Channel 14, Palestinian Resistance fighters withdrew from the scene. Simultaneously, Israeli media described the Salfit ambushes as "dangerous".
Al Mayadeen's sources revealed that the Israeli occupation forces blocked the al-Zawiya bridge and set up a large number of checkpoints in Salfit and several villages in Qalqilya.
This comes at a time when the Israeli channel KAN reported an Israeli fear of a third front opened in the occupied West Bank, knowing that the Israeli occupation has been carrying out an aggression on the Gaza Strip for 44 days and is facing the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon on the northern borders.
Since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Gaza on October 7, Palestinians in the occupied West Bank have expressed support for the Palestinian Resistance in Gaza and carried out operations against occupation forces and sites. Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces have continued their daily raids against West Bank towns.
The Palestinian Resistance in Gaza and other Palestinian factions have repeatedly called for a general mobilization and confrontation with the Israeli occupation.
It is noteworthy that since the start of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, around 170 Palestinians have been killed in the occupied West Bank, while Israeli occupation forces have arrested more than 2,735 Palestinians, as per the Palestinian Prisoners Club.
