Day 176: Israeli killings ongoing, toll on the rise, nearing 73,000
Israeli occupation forces, again, open fire on a gathering of Palestinians at the Kuwaiti Roundabout in the Gaza Strip as they awaited aid delivery, resulting in several casualties.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the Israeli occupation committed 8 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, killing 82 and injuring 98, transferred to hospitals in the past 24 hours. This brings the total number of Palestinians killed in the Israeli aggression on Gaza since last October to 32,705, in addition to 75,190 injuries
It is noteworthy that numerous victims remain trapped under the rubble, presumed dead, as "Israel" prevents ambulance and civil defense crews from reaching them.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces pursue their genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, for the 176th day in a row, via airstrikes, artillery shelling, and fire belts, while committing bloody massacres against civilians.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that Israeli airstrikes have intensified in the eastern area of Khan Younis, occurring simultaneously with ongoing artillery bombardment.
Israeli occupation forces demolished entire residential structures near Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, located in the southern region of the Gaza Strip, as per our correspondent.
Concurrently, Israeli tanks opened fire extensively on the Khan Younis camp, situated in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
Israeli occupation forces also opened fire on a gathering of Palestinians at the Kuwaiti Roundabout in the Gaza Strip as they awaited aid delivery, resulting in several casualties.
Municipality HQs, capabilities in the central Gaza Strip out of service
On their part, the municipalities of the Central Governorate in the Gaza Strip said that the Israeli occupation was deliberately bombing municipal headquarters, water wells, emergency stores, and water and sewage pipelines.
They indicated in a press statement today, Saturday, that the occupation bombed the administrative headquarters of the municipalities of al-Bureij and al-Zawayda and put the administrative headquarters of the municipality of al-Maghazi out of service due to arson and vandalism.
The relevant municipalities stressed that the Israeli occupation is set on creating a state of persistent confusion, which results in the failure to deliver any services to the people of Gaza as required, especially considering the conditions forced displacement has imposed on them in shelter centers and any place they have sought shelter in.
UNRWA Commissioner-General urges action to address Gaza's humanitarian crisis
Philippe Lazzarini, the Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), emphasized the urgent need for action to address the dire humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.
In a post on X, Lazzarini highlighted the renewed order issued by the International Court of Justice (ICJ), underscoring the man-made and worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
The ICJ order specifically calls on "Israel" to cooperate with the United Nations in facilitating the delivery of critically needed humanitarian aid to Gaza. Lazzarini stressed that cooperation entails "Israel" reversing its decision and allowing UNRWA to access northern Gaza with food and nutrition convoys on a daily basis, as well as opening additional land crossings.
The renewed binding order from the @ICJ yesterday is a stark reminder that the catastrophic humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip is man made + worsening.

It can however still be reversed.

With over 2 million people in Gaza facing worsening conditions, Lazzarini emphasized that the situation has reached unprecedented levels of urgency. He warned that famine thresholds have been surpassed in both time and speed, highlighting the urgent need for member states to exert more pressure on "Israel" to implement the ICJ order.

Furthermore, Lazzarini called on those who have halted funding for UNRWA to reconsider their decision, emphasizing the agency's vital role in averting famine and fulfilling its mandate to provide assistance to Palestinian refugees.
In conclusion, Lazzarini urged bold action to address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, emphasizing that further delays are unacceptable in the face of such dire circumstances.
'Israel' killed 26 PRCS workers
Since the outset of the Israeli genocide against Palestinians in Gaza, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) has reported a devastating toll on its humanitarian teams. According to recent statements, a total of 26 members of their teams have been killed due to the brutal Israeli aggression. Among them, 15 were deliberately targeted by IOF while carrying out their humanitarian duties and visibly displaying the protected Red Crescent emblem.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) disclosed on X that 26 of its members have been killed as a result of "Israel's" genocidal war on the #GazaStrip. The ICRC's assertion of deliberate targeting raises serious concerns about the safety and security of humanitarian personnel operating in Gaza.
