The leader of Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, reaffirmed that the military operations in the Red Sea, Gulf of Aden, and Arabian Sea will persist as part of Yemen’s principled and religious commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and the Resistance in the Gaza Strip.
In a speech delivered this week, Sayyed al-Houthi revealed that 45 military operations had been carried out by Yemeni forces over the past several days. These operations included the use of ballistic missiles, hypersonic weapons, combat drones, and naval vessels, in direct response to the Israeli aggression on Gaza and the continued US and Western support for the occupation.
Sayyed al-Houthi emphasized that Yemeni air defense and missile units successfully repelled attempts by Israeli occupation drones to breach Yemeni airspace. He noted that the recent Israeli airstrikes targeting ports in Yemen’s Hodeidah Governorate were launched from outside Yemeni airspace, avoiding direct entry into Yemeni skies due to the heightened defense posture.
Praise for Gaza Resistance and condemnation of Israeli tactics
He reiterated that the naval blockade imposed on Israeli ships across the Red Sea, Gulf of Aden, and Arabian Sea is irreversible, underscoring that Yemen will not allow the reopening of the port of Umm al-Rashrash, referring to the Israeli-occupied port of Eilat.
“Our decision is firm and final,” he declared, warning maritime shipping companies that any cooperation with the Israeli regime would face full and decisive resistance.
In his address, Sayyed al-Houthi hailed the steadfastness of the Palestinian Resistance in Gaza, particularly praising the recent Beit Hanoun ambush, which he described as a peak in tactical innovation and combat performance.
'Israel' failed to achieve objectives
He stated that the Israeli regime has repeatedly failed to achieve its objectives in Gaza, despite deploying new military tactics and launching multiple incursions. According to al-Houthi, the performance of Resistance fighters not only inflicts material and human losses on the Israeli military but also undermines its strategic and psychological goals.
Sayyed al-Houthi concluded by stressing that the position of Yemen in support of Palestine is unwavering and grounded in religious, moral, and humanitarian principles. He rejected any notion that Israeli aggression or Western propaganda could alter Yemen’s stance.
“The Yemeni people are aware, committed, and prepared to make sacrifices and endure hardship in defense of truth and dignity,” he stated, signaling long-term resistance against normalization and regional complicity in the Gaza war.
Yemeni missile crippled air traffic over 'Israel'
Early Thursday morning, air raid sirens sounded in occupied al-Quds and Tel Aviv following a missile launch from Yemen, while air traffic at Ben Gurion Airport was also brought to a halt.
On its part, Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that millions rushed to shelters after a missile launch from Yemen was detected.
The Yemeni Armed Forces continue their military operations in support of Gaza amid the ongoing genocide war, targeting the heart of the occupation entity with ballistic missiles while also intercepting vessels violating the ban on reaching ports in occupied Palestine.
Yemeni Navy sinks ETERNITY C ship
As part of their naval blockade on "Israel" until it stops its war on Gaza, the Yemeni Armed Forces sank the ETERNITY C ship, which was bound to the occupied Palestinian territories' Umm al-Rashrash port. The YAF published footage of the sinking.
The video, released by Yemen’s official military media, documented multiple attempts by the Yemeni Naval Forces to contact the crew of the ETERNITY C using the ship’s call sign D5DC2, with naval operators informing the vessel’s captain that rescue boats were en route and that a third ship, the BARYON, was also available to provide evacuation assistance.
