Arab states welcome rapprochement between Iran and Saudi Arabia
Arab countries are expressing the positive impact which could result from the Iranian and Saudi agreement.
Several Arab countries reflected their views on the re-establishment of diplomatic ties between Iran and Saudi Arabia. The countries touched on the subject by expressing hope for the future.
The head of the Sanaa negotiating delegation, Mohammed Abdel Salam, said, "The region needs the return of normal relations between its countries.", stressing the importance of having the Islamic nation restore its security after American/Zionist interventions in the area have worked to create regional disputes.

A member of the Sanaa delegation, Abdul-Malik al-Ajri, said, "Although the agreement to resume Iranian-Saudi relations concerns bilateral relations between them, it may represent a good beginning towards cooling regional conflicts."

Al-Ajri indicated in his tweet that "the allegation of the presence of an Iranian threat was the cornerstone of the aggression against Yemen," adding that Yemen deserves an apology.
Egypt viewed that the agreement contributes to reducing tension in the region.
The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that it is following with interest the announced agreement.
Egypt expressed its aspiration for the agreement to contribute to easing tensions in the region, strengthening the pillars of stability, preserving the capabilities of Arab national security, and the aspirations of the peoples of the region for prosperity, development, and stability.

These statements follow Iran and Saudi Arabia's announcement in a joint statement of their agreement to resume dialogue and diplomatic relations and to reopen embassies in both countries within two months.
ٍSimilarly, The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its hope that this step would contribute to strengthening security and stability in the region, in a manner that preserves the sovereignty of countries and the non-interference in their internal affairs, in a way that serves common interests.

The resumption of negotiations between Tehran and Riyadh was initiated by the Chinese president. After seven years of strained ties, with the help of Beijing, who brokered the series of talks and negotiations, Iran and Saudi Arabia agreed to restore diplomatic ties and reopen missions in their respective countries.
"We hope that the Saudi-Iranian rapprochement contributes to enhancing regional security and stability and consolidating positive and constructive cooperation that benefits all the peoples of the region and the world," the Omani Foreign Ministry said.

The Iraqi Foreign Ministry, meanwhile, welcomed the agreement reached between the two countries, saying the agreement was reached through Baghdad bolstering the foundation of the ties between Riyadh and Tehran through the talks it hosted before they were transferred to Oman and finally concluded under China's auspices.

After seven years of strained ties, Iran and Saudi Arabia agreed to restore diplomatic relations and re-open their embassies series of talks brokered in Beijing, China under the auspices of Chinese President Xi Jinping on Friday.
According to the joint statement, "the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have agreed to resume diplomatic ties and reopen embassies and missions within two months of talks."
Moreover, Iran and Saudi Arabia said they "thank the Republic of Iraq and the Sultanate of Oman for hosting the talks held between the two sides in 2021 and 2022, as well as the leaders and government of the People's Republic of China for hosting and supporting the talks held in that country."
