The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported today that the Israeli occupation committed 13 massacres during the past hours, killing 114 Palestinians and injuring 249 others, leaving the current death toll at 26,751 since October 7. 65,636 Palestinians are also reportedly injured.

Al Mayadeen 's correspondent in Gaza reported that the occupation forces targeted the tents barely serving as a shelter for the displaced Palestinians in al-Mawasi southwest of the Gaza Strip.

“The occupation forces continue to besiege and bomb the Nasser and Al-Amal hospitals in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip," he added.

In statements to Al Mayadeen, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Ashraf al-Qudra, said, “The Nasser Medical Complex is currently in a very critical situation due to repeated Israeli attacks.”

He added, "It lacks medical and surgical supplies, and medical teams cannot remove critical cases from it," stressing that "we are two days away from Nasser Medical Complex becoming out of service."

"The health system in Gaza is in a state of continuous collapse," he said, emphasizing that 800 wounded Palestinians left through the Rafah crossing to receive treatment, while there are still about 7,000 others in need of treatment outside of Gaza.

"About 2 million displaced Palestinians are living in inhumane and unhealthy conditions exposing them to diseases and epidemics, and we are expecting the spread of cholera," he added.

Commenting on the act of suspending funds sent to UNRWA, al-Qudra stressed that this "directly affects the health sector in Gaza, especially since the organization supervises about 70% of it.”

The Nakba is ongoing

Israeli occupation forces are attacking all families refusing to leave Tal al-Hawa as they have been deliberately displacing Palestinians from the area by forcing them into trucks and moving them to other areas, according to our correspondent who emphasized that the occupation is using all means possible to pressure Palestinians to leave their homes.

He stressed that the occupation forces have been preventing ambulances from reaching targeted areas, which has led to an increase in the number of martyrs.

IOF deliberately targets ambulances

Chief medic, Ashraf al-Shanti, stated that until this moment, “there are victims under the rubble, and we cannot reach them.”

He stressed that the IOF are arresting members of the ambulance teams and bombing their cars disregarding all international laws. "The Israeli occupation forces are deliberately targeting medical and ambulance crews in the Gaza Strip through bombing and siege," he stated.

He further explained, "The medical teams are now on the streets with no shelter," pointing out that the medical teams "work in ambulances."

The international community is concerned

The Economist reported that these Israeli atrocities come amid a severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza labeling it as "one of the worst crises of the twenty-first century."

United Nations Special Rapporteur on the right to food, Michael Fakhri, also stated, “Famine has become inevitable in Gaza after some countries stopped funding the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA)."
