Attack on 'Eliat' most serious since Oct.7: Israeli media
The drone, coming from Iraq and passing through Jordan, managed to reach Eilat, reaching its target and detonating.
Israeli media outlets described the incident of the drone targeting "Eilat" early Monday as "the most serious" since the start of the war, emphasizing that it was an "unusual" occurrence.
Israeli media added that the details revealed so far indicate that the "hostile" drone flew from Iraq, through Jordan, and reached "Eilat", where it exploded near a building.
Israeli media expressed surprise and disappointment over the drone's successful penetration of occupation airspace and precise targeting, emphasizing that such an outcome was not anticipated.
It also highlighted that the recent drone attack on "Eilat" marks the second instance of a drone penetrating from the direction of Jordan and detonating in the area.

Last week, the Resistance intensified its attacks against Israeli targets inside occupied territory.
On Sunday, it confirmed that its fighters targeted a vital target in "Eilabun" in the occupied Palestinian al-Jalil with drones.
On Saturday, the Iraqi Resistance announced that it engaged an Israeli military post in the occupied Syrian Golan using drones.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq also announced that its fighters targeted on March 26 and March 27 the Israeli "Ovda" Airbase and the "Speer" military site in occupied Palestinian territories using drones.
In addition, the Resistance targeted on March 24 the headquarters building of the Israeli occupation's Ministry of Security in occupied Palestinian territories with drones.
