BBC has blood on its hands: How justifying war crimes resulted in one
The BBC explained how Hamas is "likely" to have tunnels under civilian buildings and residential areas, thus giving the Israeli occupation the benefit of the doubt when it comes to shelling such targets.
Western media has long sought to justify the massacres their countries peddle and that the latters' allies perpetrate by providing false pretenses and strawman arguments, among others, in a bid to bend over in reverse and justify the tragic loss of life - and even war crimes.
Today, BBC, a pioneer in spreading pro-Western propaganda that has long been used to echo Western sentiment in the global south, from playing a role in the toppling of democratically-elected Iranian Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh to spreading lies about the Iraqi government having weapons of mass destruction in the prelude to the invasion of Iraq in 2003, has more blood on its hands - as if it was possible for the corporation to have more blood on its hands.
This blood is that of hundreds of Palestinians, many of whom are children, who were killed by the Israeli occupation flagrantly committing a war crime.

The Israeli occupation martyred more than 1,000 innocent civilians today alone by bombing a hospital and a school in #Gaza.#BBCYourQuestionsAnswered #GazaGenocide https://t.co/TP4rok7yAr
The BBC's Lyse Doucet - very innocently - asked on Monday whether Hamas "build[s] tunnels under hospitals and schools."
Now, to give BBC the benefit of the doubt, which one would have to try very hard to do given the circumstances, there was not a clear "yes" answer.
The article consisted of an explainer of how the Palestinian resistance has a tunnel system and how the Israeli occupation forces repeatedly accused them of building them under schools and hospitals, with a little "analysis" thrown in.

The BBC underlined that the tunnels were a vital part of the resistance's infrastructure, saying the "Gaza metro" - as the IOF calls it - would be used to transport goods, people, weapons, munitions, and more.
"It's hard to say with complete certainty where they're located," the BBC asserted. However, it seems that the Israeli occupation certainly knows where they are located - under schools, under hospitals, under mosques - though the outlet claims that "reports" suggested that.
Doucet decided to play the devil's advocate in this case, saying that Hamas' alleged "vast underground network" existing on "such a small sliver of land, seems likely to wind under densely packed neighborhoods of homes, hospitals, and schools."
The BBC did not clearly state that Hamas had tunnels under homes, schools, mosques, and hospitals, though it did not deny it. Instead, it said it was "likely", thus providing validity to the Israeli argument that it strikes civilian targets and residential areas under the pretext of destroying Hamas targets - thus giving validity to the Israeli occupation's attempts to ethnically cleanse the Palestinian population.
The BBC not only backed the Israeli claims, but through its words, it insinuated that the buildings and facilities they mentioned did not deserve protection, essentially giving the Israeli occupation the green light to do whatever it wanted and assuring it that no matter what it targets, it would be protected from any criticism.
The British outlet's claims came just a day before the Israeli occupation carried out a massacre before the entire world as it bombed a hospital housing over a thousand civilians, killing hundreds in the process.
Palestinian media reported that Al-Maamadani Hospital was housing over a thousand people, including Palestinian refugees, patients, and media personnel.

Preliminary reports suggest that no less than 800 people were martyred in the Israeli aggression.
The Israeli occupation forces bombed the Palestinian Hospital as Gaza continues reporting that its health sector is suffering in light of the crisis, with medicine and medical supplies being at risk of running out.
