Beijing slams Kiev for adding Chinese companies to 'war sponsors' list
Ukraine registered China's largest three energy companies on its "international sponsors of war" list for having business ties with Russia and Russian firms.
China slammed on Wednesday Kiev's decision to add Chinese energy companies to the list of "international sponsors of war" and urged Ukraine to revoke this designation.
Ukraine's National Agency on Corruption Prevention announced on Tuesday that it had included China's three largest oil and gas firms in a self-compiled list of "international sponsors of war" due to their cooperation with Russia.

"China firmly opposes the inclusion of Chinese enterprises in the list," the Chinese Foreign Ministry told Sputnik, adding that Beijing calls on Kiev to "immediately correct its mistakes and eliminate the negative impact."
China Petrochemical Corporation (Sinopec Group), China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC Group), and China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) were added to Ukraine's list for continuing to buy Russian oil and gas and cooperating with Russian energy companies on joint projects.
The move raises the number of Chinese business entities on the register to 12, including Ali Baba and Xiaomi. Market giants such as Unilever, Bacardi, and PepsiCo were also added to the list earlier.
