Ben-Gvir wants to record bloody era: Palestinian Detainees Commission
The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs calls on the international community to immediately take action against extremist Knesset member Itamar Ben-Gvir.
The Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs warned on Monday against granting power to the Zionist extremist Knesset member, Itamar Ben-Gvir, who wants to record "a bloody era against the Palestinian people" and prisoners.
In a statement, the Commission pointed out that Ben-Gvir, who is meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu, "is striving for taking the Ministry of Internal Security, charged with the responsibility of supervising the Prisons Services," which constitutes a real concern and threat to the lives of Palestinian prisoners in the coming period.
The Commission warned that Ben-Gvir actually began his attack and incitement against Palestinian prisoners and detainees, as he publicly demanded the abolition of the representation of detainees in factions and organizations inside prisons.
He also called for preventing prisoners from preparing food in their rooms, reducing the quantities of water, and adding more restrictions against them, the Commission added.
The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs called on the international community to immediately take action to confront Ben-Gvir's brutality and his criminal and racist plans, pointing out that he is one of the most prominent advocates of Zionist extremism and systematically practices terrorism against the holy sites and the Palestinian people, in addition to being one of the most prominent advocates of extremism and terrorism practiced against Palestinians.
It is noteworthy that Ben-Gvir will meet with Likud party leader and former Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, as part of the consultations to form the next Israeli government.
