Biden, Al Nahyan discuss Gaza amid 'beheaded babies' scandal
The US and UAE decide to remain in close contact as Biden calls Hamas' defense a 'terrorist' attack and simultaneously talks of strengthening ties with the UAE.
The White House confirmed in a statement that US President Joe Biden spoke in a phone conversation with his United Arab Emirates (UAE) counterpart, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on Wednesday regarding the Israeli attacks on Gaza.
According to the statement, Biden stressed “his condemnation of Hamas’s terror and his warning against anyone who might seek to exploit the current situation”.
In addition, they talked about "the history of relations between the UAE and the United States and the steadfast US commitment to peace and security in the region,” as the statement added that both decided to remain in close contact.

This comes after Biden called Operation Al-Aqsa Flood "sheer evil," while completely disregarding the Israeli aggression and hysterical bombing raids on Gaza.
"There are moments in this life - I mean this literally - when a pure unadulterated evil is unleashed on this world," he said during a speech from the White House. "This is an act of sheer evil."
Biden still failed to mention that the Israeli occupation was brutally killing civilians, using white phosphorus, and bombing religious sites and schools where people typically seek refuge in times of war.
'Doing this for a long time'
Biden warns against those who attempt to exploit the situation when the US is doing exactly just that.
Just yesterday, the White House had to issue a statement to clarify that Biden and other US officials have neither witnessed nor independently confirmed that Palestinian Resistance fighters beheaded Israeli children, hours after Biden blindly adopted the false Israeli claims that were widely circulated by Western media in an attempt to defame and satanize the Resistance.
The White House statement comes after Biden told Jewish leaders at the White House, "It is important for Americans to see what is happening. I have been doing this for a long time. I never thought that I would see, or have confirmed pictures of terrorists beheading children."
According to a White House spokesperson, he based his remarks on statements from the spokesperson of Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, as well as Israeli media.
Then an IOF spokesperson told Anadolu Agency that Israelis have no information regarding "Hamas beheading babies".
Moreover, the UAE exhibited a glaring inconsistency in its position. Initially, it aligned itself with "Israel" by condemning Hamas' operation and providing substantial aid to the occupying force, even as Gaza grappled with dire shortages of necessities.
Subsequently, the UAE chose to dispatch aid to Gaza in an apparent bid for neutrality. Nonetheless, it refrained from censuring the Israeli brutalities in Gaza and the relentless aggression that deliberately targeted civilian homes, resulting in the tragic loss of entire families in a single strike.
