Biden denies effects of remarks on China relations during Modi's visit
At the conclusion of India's Prime Minister's visit to the White House, US President Joe Biden refuses to accept the effects of his 'irresponsible' comments on Chinese relations.
US President Joe Biden hosted India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the White House on Thursday as part of the former's official state visit to the US.
Modi emphasized, during a joint press conference with Biden, that India is willing to contribute "in any way" to restore peace in Ukraine, highlighting that this has been his country's stance "from the very beginning of the events."
The Prime Minister also denied discrimination against Muslim communities in India saying, "Regardless of caste, creed, religion, gender, there's absolutely no space for discrimination," as he responded to one of the questions raised during the press conference.

Biden refuses face consequences of his blunders
During the same conference, Biden denied that his insulting comments about President Xi Jinping will hinder progress between the two countries.
When he was questioned by reporters on the matter, he simply replied "No."
He added that he expects to meet the Chinese President sometime "in the future, in the near term, and I don't think it's had any real consequence."
Biden's refusal to face up to the consequences of his statements is deeply troubling, as both the Chinese Foreign Ministry and the Chinese Embassy in Washington issued statements condemning the US President's remarks, as the latter demanded that the US take the necessary measures to make up for Biden's "irresponsible" comments.
