Biden to Bennett: Iran Will Never Have Nuclear Weapons
Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett affirmed during a meeting with US President Joe Biden that "Israel" knows that it does not have a loyal and better ally than the United States.
Joe Biden pledged after meeting with "Israeli" Prime Minister Naftali Bennett that Iran will never have nuclear weapons.
Biden's statement came down to such conclusion in his meeting with Bennett at the White House, who is visiting Washington for the first time since taking office on June 13, according to "Yedioth Ahronoth."
Biden stressed that Iran will never have nuclear weapons, adding that "If diplomacy fails, we're ready to turn to other options."
For his part, Bennett thanked Biden for hosting him at the White House, and said at the end of their bilateral meeting that "Israel" will always stand by with the US, praising the US President for standing by "Israel's" side.
Bennett expressed that "Israel" knows that it has no loyal and better ally than the US.
Bennett and Biden are scheduled to start meetings with their staff, including Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan, US Ambassador to the United Nations Linda Thomas Greenfield, and other senior officials.
The meeting was supposed to be held on Thursday, but it was postponed in the wake of an explosion in the vicinity of the Afghan capital, Kabul, as the US President held urgent meetings to discuss the consequences of the attack on the US withdrawal from the country.
According to his previous statements, Bennett will present to the US President new plans to "curb" the Iranian nuclear program.
