Bukhaiti: Aggression countries aim to derail any real Yemeni dialogue
After the Gulf Cooperation Council announced it would host Yemeni talks in Riyadh, Ansar Allah has stressed that the talks should take place in a neutral country.
Mohammed al-Bukhaiti, a member of Ansar Allah's Political Council, has said that the countries of aggression inviting Yemenis to dialogue under their guardianship in Riyadh are only aimed at circumventing any real Yemeni dialogue.
Al-Bukhaiti tweeted on Thursday that Ansar Allah previously called for Yemeni-Yemeni dialogue in a neutral country in order to unite the Yemenis to face external challenges that aim to occupy Yemen and carve out a part of its land.
In January, al-Bukhaiti said, "The possibility of a political solution in Yemen was, is, and will continue to exist," stressing that "Ansar Allah has the will and decision-making power for a Yemeni-Yemeni dialogue without foreign interference."
The Gulf Cooperation Council announced yesterday that it may invite the Yemeni Ansar Allah for dialogue in Saudi Arabia.
According to Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, "Riyadh is a party to the war, not a mediator."
The Prime Minister of the Sanaa government Abdul Aziz bin Habtoor stressed that the first step in dialogue is to stop the aggression against Yemen, noting in an interview for Al Mayadeen that the invitation comes from the same countries responsible for the aggression.
Days ago, a source in the Sanaa government confirmed that Yemen welcomes any dialogue with countries of the Saudi coalition in any neutral country not participating in the aggression against Yemen.
