Bulgarian President Radev Wins
Bulgaria's incumbent President Radev wins a second term as president with 66.69%.
The incumbent Bulgarian President, Rumen Radev, won the second round of the presidential elections that took place on Sunday.
According to Bulgaria's Central Election Commission, Radev and his deputy, Iliana Yotova, won 66.69% of the votes, after 99.7% of the electoral protocols were counted.
In the first round, Radev received 49.42% of the vote.
His rival Anastas Gerdzhikov, Dean of Sofia University, and his deputy, Alpay Nevyana Miteva, managed to gather only 31.83% of the votes on the second round.
In addition, 1.48% of voters voted for the "no one's support" option.
According to the Commission, Sunday's elections ran smoothly and noted that the counting of votes is nearing completion.
