China urges US to clarify biological militarization activities
China urged the US to offer a comprehensive clarification on its biological militarization activities in Ukraine.
Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian said on Tuesday that the country has urged the US to clarify its biological activities for military purposes both at home and abroad.
Zhao commented on information about US-funded biological laboratories in Ukraine by saying, "We once again urge the American side to fully clarify its biological militarization activities at home and abroad."

On Monday, the Russian defense ministry made public a presentation in which it stated that the US spent more than $200 million on the work of biological laboratories in Ukraine and that the laboratories of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's central sanitary and epidemiological directorate participated in the US military biological program.
Igor Kirillov, the head of the radiation, chemical, and biological defense of the Russian armed forces, reported that Russian forces found 30 biological laboratories in Ukraine, possibly used to develop biological weapons.
