Clashes between SDF, tribal forces in Deir Ezzor countryside, Syria
The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) target the village of Baqras with heavy machine guns, resulting in injuries among its residents.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Aleppo reported Tuesday that the so-called Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) shelled the village of Baqras in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, on the western bank of the Euphrates River in eastern Syria, with mortar shells.
Our correspondent mentioned that the SDF targeted the village with heavy machine guns, resulting in injuries among the residents of the village controlled by the Syrian state.
He pointed out that the shelling coincided with a fierce attack by Arab tribal forces on SDF positions in the town of Diban, in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
According to our correspondent, the tribal forces also targeted the general command headquarters of the SDF in the town of al-Busayrah, in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor, with hand grenades.
Earlier on Tuesday, several SDF members were killed and others were injured in separate attacks carried out by tribal forces in the countryside of Deir Ezzor and Turkish drones that targeted several SDF locations and vehicles in the city of Qamishli, in the al-Hasakah province.
The Arab tribal forces attacked several SDF headquarters in the towns of al-Shaafah, al-Shheel, Diban, and al-Hawayej in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, in addition to the towns of al-Jnenah and al-Harmoushiah n its western countryside.
Meanwhile, sources confirmed to Al Mayadeen Net the killing of six SDF members in an attack carried out by gunmen believed to be affiliated with tribal forces in the town of al-Shaafah, in addition to the killing of two other members in similar attacks in the town of al-Hawayej.
