CNN report confirms "Israel" behind Khodaei assassination

A CNN report confirmed that in May the Israeli regime was responsible for the assassination of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) officer Colonel Hassan Sayyad Khodaei in Tehran.

Khodaei was martyred with five bullets shot by two terrorists riding on a motorcycle

A report titled "American allies in the Middle East pressure Biden to come up with strategy for containing Iran" published on CNN confirmed and revealed that the Israeli regime was behind the assassination.

According to the publication, "A US official and another source briefed on the intelligence confirmed to CNN that Israel was behind the assassination of Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps Colonel Sayad Khodayee in Tehran last month, as first reported by The New York Times," adding that "the Israeli Embassy did not return requests for comment."

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi stated that "revenge for the blood of the martyr Sayyad Khadaei is certain."

He expressed his condolences to the family of the martyr and elaborated that those who were defeated by the defenders of Al-Quds, implying the Israeli occupation, demonstrate their helplessness by assassinating martyr Sayyad Khodaie.

The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the assassination, offering its condolences to Khodaei's family members while describing the murder as "a crime against humanity."

Brigadier General Hossein Salami, commander of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), said the IRGC will undoubtedly exact retribution for the death of Khodaei.

The commander, while in a meeting with Khodaei's family, stated that those assassinated by Zionists are particularly of higher status due to being killed by the worst people on earth.
