Condolences continue pouring over helicopter crash martyrs
The UN announced that it will lower its flag to half-mast tomorrow, Tuesday, at 8:30 AM Eastern Time in mourning for the helicopter incident.
Countries are continuing to offer their condolences to the Islamic Republic of Iran following the martyrdom of its president Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, and their accompanying delegation due to the crash of a helicopter carrying them in the skies of East Azerbaijan.
In a statement, the US State Department said, "The United States expresses its official condolences for the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian, and other members."

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General stated that Antonio Guterres called the Iranian representative at the UN and conveyed his condolences over the death of the president and his aides.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in a phone call with Iran's Acting President Mohammad Mokhber, affirmed Turkey's support for Tehran during these difficult days.
Erdogan declared a one-day period of mourning in Turkey to share in the Iranian people's grief.

Qatari Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani also extended his condolences to Iran’s acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani over the martyrdom of President Raisi and his companions.

Moreover, Deputy Secretary-General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Jamil Mazhar, sent a message of condolence to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Mazhar appreciated the efforts of President Raisi and the Resistance Axis Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian in serving the Palestinian cause.
