Confrontations Renew between Young Palestinians and Israeli Occupation Forces
Many areas in the occupied West Bank and Al-Quds are witnessing confrontations with Israeli occupation forces during popular anti-settlement activities, most notably in Beita and Beit Dajan.
Israeli forces opened fire on Palestinian demonstrators who rallied against illegal outposts on Palestinian land.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces have stormed the Um al-Sharayet neighborhood from the southern side of al-Bireh city, adding that footage has shown confrontations between young Palestinian men and occupation forces near the city's northern entrance.

Palestinian youths threw molotov cocktails at the fence of the illegal “Har Homa” settlement near Beit Sahour, east of Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank, on Friday following the occupation's decision to build additional settlements on the Palestinian land of Abu Ghneim Mountain near Beit Sahour, east of occupied al-Quds.
Assault on Beita demonstrators
As Israeli occupation forces open fire on demonstrators, 82 Palestinians and one foreign activist were injured in the Nablus governorate villages of Beita and Beit Dajan on Friday.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society reported that five protestors including a foreign activist were injured by rubber-coated metal bullets.
Israeli occupation forces have also targeted the protest with tear gas canisters, with smoke filling the air and leading to the injury of 62 Palestinians due to tear gas inhalation.
New forms of Palestinian resistance
Many areas in the occupied West Bank and al-Quds are witnessing confrontations with Israeli occupation forces to reject illegal settlement projects.
Daily and weekly activities are organized in the town of Beita, south of Nablus, as part of the steps aimed at removing the “Evyatar” illegal settlement built on the lands of Jabal Sabih.
Simultaneously, Palestinians in Beit Dajan, east of Nablus, are carrying out similar activities to demand the removal of an illegal Israeli outpost built on Palestinian land and the reopening of the western street, which has been closed for 15 years.
In tandem, Jabal Sabih guards lit torches and chanted through loudspeakers during the activities.
Responding to the growing popular resistance, the Israeli occupation forces bulldozed the roads leading to Jabal Sabih, in an effort to obstruct the arrival of demonstrators and ambulance crews to the mountain on Friday afternoon to participate in the weekly activities against the illegal settlement outpost.
The Palestinian youths have been developing new forms of resistance, particularly during night confusion activities, the most recent of which was the detonation of large sound barrels in front of the occupation's checkpoint.
In the last few months, the confrontations led to the martyrdom of eight Palestinians in Beita. Moreover, hundreds have been injured, and dozens have been arrested in an attempt by the occupation to halt the night confusion activities.
