Cuba's President slams Rafah massacre as 'great affront to humanity'
The Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs also expresses Cuba's condemnation of the criminal attack by the Israeli occupation forces against the displaced Palestinians in Rafah.
Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel condemned the Israeli massacres in Gaza and called for intensifying solidarity with Palestine.
In a post on X, the Cuban President stressed that the world must stop the massacre of the Palestinian people now.
He added that the devastated camps in Rafah stand as "a great affront to humanity," further emphasizing, "How many more will have to die for the genocide to end?"
Earlier, in an interview for Al Mayadeen, Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel said that what is happening in Gaza is a "monstrous genocide".
He said that it should be stopped and the people must be heard.

The Cuban President said that his country condemns "Israel" and calls for increased solidarity with Palestine.
In a similar vein, the Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs Bruno Eduardo Rodríguez Parrilla also expressed on X his country's condemnation of the criminal attack by the Israeli occupation forces against the camps of displaced Palestinians camp in Rafah, stressing that it violates the international humanitarian law and the order of the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

"This atrocious massacre of dozens of refugees demonstrates the impunity with which Israel perpetuates its genocide against the Palestinian people," he stressed.
Two massacres within 48 hours
The Government Media Office in Gaza confirmed that the Israeli occupation killed 72 displaced Palestinians within 48 hours by bombing their tents in areas it had labeled as "safe zones", west of Rafah.
Israeli occupation forces committed several massacres in Rafah with the latest one being the massacre committed in the al-Mawasi area on May 28, in which 22 Palestinians were killed.
Earlier, on the evening of May 26, Israeli occupation forces committed a massacre against dozens of displaced Palestinians by bombing their tents set up in UNRWA warehouses in Rafah, southern Gaza Strip, also a designated "safe zone".
More than 50 Palestinians were killed and many others were injured as a result of this massacre.
