Cuban President: Al Mayadeen Media Network revealed Israeli crimes
Cuban President, Miguel Diaz-Canel, declares his country's solidarity with Al Mayadeen Media Network, noting that it reflects the lives of the Arab people and exposes Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people.
Cuban President, Miguel Diaz-Canel, expressed his country's solidarity with Al Mayadeen Media Network, after the Israeli occupation's cabinet decision to block its broadcast in the occupied Palestinian territories.
He stressed that it is a multi-media outlet that expresses and reflects the lives of the Arab people, adding that Al Mayadeen "with their dignity and defense of the truth, reveals the genocide "Israel" is committing against the Palestinian people."
Earlier this month, the Israeli war cabinet approved regulations that would allow the occupation government to ban and shut down Al Mayadeen Media Network, which comprises a foreign channel as per the emergency regulations descriptions and broadcasts in "Israel" in three languages: Arabic, English, and Spanish.
According to the decision, Al Mayadeen is said to "harm national security."
In accordance with the emergency regulations enacted by the occupation government to prevent any foreign broadcast corporation from compromising "national security" and after the Minister of Security was convinced of the actual threat to "national security", the war cabinet approved early this morning the proposal by the Minister of Communications to shut down Al Mayadeen Media Network.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Mayadeen Media Network revealed the intricacies of the decision-making process behind the news network's approach to the coverage of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
Ben Jeddou confirmed that "Israel's" decision to ban Al Mayadeen "was not a technical decision. It was not even a political decision. In fact, it was a military decision related to the national security of Israel."
"For the first time in history, the war cabinet, entrusted by the United States to make the most important decisions during this war, met to discuss Al Mayadeen Media Network as a topic on its agenda," he explained.
Ben Jeddou highlighted the remarks of Israeli Security Minister, Yoav Gallant, who categorized Al Mayadeen as a "grave threat to Israeli security."
