Daoud Al-Zubaidi, brother of Zakaria, succumbs to injuries by IOF
Daoud Al-Zubaidi, after being in critical condition since late Saturday due to the IOF shooting him in the abdomen, has passed away in an occupation hospital in Haifa.
Daoud Al-Zubaidi, a liberated Palestinian prisoner, was martyred on Sunday in an Israeli occupation hospital in Haifa due to the injuries he sustained at the hands of the Israeli occupation forces in Jenin Camp, occupied West Bank, a few days ago.
The Israeli occupation forces had informed Al-Zubaidi's family that he had been detained and was in a critical condition.
"Daoud was transported from the Jenin Camp to a hospital in the '48 territories due to the deterioration of his health condition, which was caused by the Israeli occupation assaulting him while storming Jenin Camp. He was detained today," the family reported late Saturday.
On Friday morning, our Al Mayadeen correspondent in Jenin reported that Israeli occupation forces stormed the Jenin refugee camp and the town of Burqin, noting that heavy gunfire was heard in the area.
The martyr was shot in the abdomen, prompting the occupation to transport him to Rambam Hospital in Haifa.
Daoud is the brother of renowned Palestinian prisoner Zakaria Al-Zubaidi who had broken out from the Gilboa Prison in occupied Palestine as part of Operation Freedom Tunnel.

He was the commander of the Al-Aqsa Brigades and a senior official in Fatah. He made a historic achievement as the breakout was the first of its kind since the Israelis started occupying Palestine.
Before his arrest in 2019, Zakaria Al-Zubaidi was among the most powerful figures in Jenin and was a prominent advocate for the continuation of the uprising. He is considered one of the most notable leaders of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs of the Fatah movement. He is a former member of the movement's revolutionary council, elected on December 4, 2016.
