Day 178: 32,845 killed, 75,392 injured
Israeli occupation massacres against civilians in the Gaza Strip are still ongoing for the 178th consecutive day, showing no signs of cessation.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the Israeli occupation committed six massacres in the Strip in the past 24 hours, killing 63 and injuring 94. This brings the total number of Palestinians killed since the Israeli aggression on Gaza started on October 7 to 32,845, in addition to 75,392 injured.
It is noteworthy that many victims remain trapped under the rubble, presumed dead, as "Israel" prevents ambulances and civil defense crews from reaching them.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces pursue their genocidal war on the Gaza Strip for the 178th day in a row via airstrikes, artillery shelling, and fire belts, while committing bloody massacres against civilians.
Earlier, the Government Media Office in Gaza stated that the number of journalists killed since the beginning of the genocidal war on the Strip has risen to 137 after an Israeli strike targeted the home of journalist Abdul Wahab Aouni Abu Aoun in the al-Maghazi refugee camp on Sunday, leading to his martyrdom.
Journalists in Gaza are facing terrible dangers, brought forth by "Israel's" mass indiscriminate bombing of the Strip, communication and electricity outages, and supply shortages.
The Committee to Protect Journalists CPJ warned on Thursday that “journalists in Gaza face particularly high risks as they try to cover the conflict during the Israeli ground assault."
"CPJ is investigating all reports of journalists and media workers killed, injured, or missing in the war, which has led to the deadliest period for journalists since CPJ began gathering data in 1992,” it added.
On the other hand, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported on Sunday that an Israeli airstrike targeted a house in the al-Maghazi camp in central Gaza, resulting in the martyrdom of three Palestinians.
Israeli warplanes also carried out a number of airstrikes on southern areas in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
Israeli military vehicles resumed incursions into the al-Mawasi district near the Mediterranean coast, west of Khan Younis, coinciding with artillery shelling and gunfire from naval vessels.
