Day 363 of Israeli genocide in Gaza: 41,788 killed, 96,794 injured
The Israeli occupation continues to commit genocide in the Gaza Strip, bombing Palestinians indiscriminately and resulting in multiple massacres per day.
Over the past 24 hours, the Israeli occupation committed eight massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, 99 of whom were martyred and 169 wounded were hospitalized.
This comes as the genocidal war against the Gaza Strip approaches its one-year mark. As of October 3rd, which marks the 363rd day of the conflict, the Israeli occupation has killed 41,788 Palestinians and injured 96,794, according to the latest tally by the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip.
Moreover, hundreds remain either buried under the rubble or unaccounted for since October 7, 2023, due to the aggression and the inability of Civil Defense teams to reach them. This is a result of the systematic destruction of their resources, equipment, and civilian infrastructureleading to bombarded locations across the region and even the killing of their personnel.
The Israeli genocide continues
The Israeli occupation forces continue their genocide in the Gaza Strip, launching dozens of airstrikes and heavy artillery bombardments, committing further massacres against civilians amid a catastrophic humanitarian crisis caused by the total Israeli blockade.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza reported that a young man was martyred and another wounded in an Israeli strike targeting a house west of Al-Nuseirat camp in central Gaza.
Our correspondent added that Israeli occupation forces continue to open fire west of the New Camp, north of Al-Nuseirat, in the central part of the Gaza Strip. He noted that casualties occurred after an artillery shell hit the Zureik building in the Nuseirat camp.
Since the early hours of Thursday morning, occupation forces stationed west of Al-Nuseirat have been firing shots and artillery shells at homes in various areas of the camp.
Palestinian media confirmed that five martyrs, including a woman and two children, were pulled from the rubble, with others injured from the Darwish family, displaced in a house belonging to the Abu Samour family, following an Israeli airstrike on a house in Al-Shati camp, west of Gaza City.

It is worth noting that the former Palestinian detainee Abdul Aziz Saleha was martyred in an Israeli strike on a tent housing forcible displaced people near a clinic in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza Strip.
More women, children killed in Gaza than in any recent war: Report
A joint analysis by Oxfam and Action on Armed Violence (AOAV) released on Tuesday shows a significant surge in civilian deaths in Gaza over the past year, exceeding those of any other war in the last 20 years.
The report reveals that Israeli aggression has resulted in the deaths of more than 6,000 women and 11,000 children, marking a grim milestone in civilian casualties in war zones. The findings highlight the severe impact of Israeli attacks on Gaza, with civilian infrastructure hit by explosive weapons every three hours on average since the beginning of the war.
AOAV's findings highlight the widespread destruction across Gaza, where homes, shelters, schools, hospitals, and vital aid centers have been decimated. The ongoing aggression has left thousands of families mourning the loss of loved ones, while hundreds of thousands are displaced, as even "safe zones" have become targets of military strikes.
Dr. Iain Overton, AOAV’s executive director, condemned the situation as "appalling", criticizing the international community for its inaction in the face of such widespread devastation: “The scale of devastation in Gaza should be a wake-up call. The persistent bombardment of homes, schools, and hospitals with such alarming frequency demonstrates a blatant disregard for human life and international law.”
