Albeit GOP efforts to end her bid, Haley's donor money keeps her going
Donors pour into Nikki Haley's campaign despite rising controversies surrounding her.
According to a report by Axios, Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley's fundraising in January was a big surprise after she garnered almost as much cash as the previous three months combined - which could sustain her presidential bid.
In January, $16.5 million was raised including $11.7 million from grassroots supporters, which added 69,274 new donors last month.
She brought in over $5 million in online grassroots donations the week after rallying in New Hampshire, and after she received more support following Trump's threat to bar any Haley donor from the "MAGA camp".
Mark Harris, the lead strategist for the pro-Haley super PAC Stand for America, expressed, "It was just a sort of gasoline on the fire."

For the next two weeks, Haley has 10 fundraisers scheduled in California, Florida, New York, and Texas while the January fundraising reports are due February 20.
Haley campaign spokesperson Olivia Perez-Cubas told Axios she believed "the campaign was smart and was thrifty and was very diligent with how it used its resources."
The 'underdog' and the villain in disguise
At the end of 2023, Haley had $14 million in cash on hand while Sen. Bernie Sanders had $18.1 million during the same period of the 2020 campaign and President Joe Biden had $8.9 million.
However, Trump's campaign bid farewell to 2023 with a whopping $33 million on hand, but according to FEC filings, millions of donor money were spent on legal fees amid his stack of criminal trials.
Harris of the super PAC Stand for America said South Carolina is the focus before the state's February 24 primary.
"We may end up advertising in the Super Tuesday states ... but we're following the campaign's lead and the best thing we can do for all those states is have a strong showing in South Carolina," he said, adding, "We're the insurgent outsider campaign, we're the underdog... that's right where Nikki likes to be."
Nikki also likes to be on the wrong side of humanity - considering she has a heart for that.
Back in 2017, Haley threatened to take away billions of dollars in US foreign aid if sovereign countries didn't vote in favor of the UN resolution to recognize al-Quds as "Israel's" capital and move the US embassy there. She has been a strong advocate of the Israeli occupation of Palestine.
Haley has had her own roast show after she denied that slavery was the reason behind the US Civil War - which led to her mocking - and last month, she confidently relayed to the public that it was not a coincidence that Hamas conducted its operation on October 7, which also happens to be Russian President Vladimir Putin's birthday.

She's been trying to put up the "women's rights" front during her presidential campaign and trying to play the emotional card but has proven her selective bias over and over as she wilfully neglects the women's rights violations taking place in Gaza.
