The sources indicated that despite conflicting reports of an unidentified drone carrying out the attack, the cause of the explosion is still unknown and unconfirmed.
Fragments of rockets and ammunition killed civilians in a number of camps and villages around the explosion site, while two missiles were reported to have fallen into Turkish borders, with no information on victims.
According to reports, helicopters entered Syrian airspace two hours after the explosion from the direction of Bab Al-Hawa crossing toward the region of the explosion, after ensuring that the missiles had ceased flying, and began a survey and photographic operation of the area.
The same sources reported from witnesses in the area that numerous ambulances transported the dead and the wounded to hospitals in northern Idlib.
The sources described the explosion as extremely powerful in terms of its power and the density of blown-up missiles.
