Media sources have informed Al Mayadeen that explosions have not ceased for hours in Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip, as the occupation is showering it with intense rings of fire. Sources have confirmed the ongoing Israeli bombardment on the central Gaza Strip as well, leading to several martyrs being brought to the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.

The sources made it clear that the loud sounds of explosions, stemming from a series of Israeli airstrikes on different areas in Khan Younis, can be distinctly heard in Rafah. This underscores the extent of firepower used by the Israeli occupation in targeting the city.

Occupation army forces opened heavy fire east of the town of al-Fukhari, east of Khan Younis, and Israeli warplanes proceeded to bomb buildings at the College of Science and Technology, south of the city. Furthermore, the occupation's drones targeted the European Hospital in the eastern part of southern Khan Younis, firing at the hospital. Additionally, Israeli artillery aimed at the Qizan al-Najjar and Jura al-Loot areas in the southern regions of the city.

Ambulances unable to reach areas targeted by 'Israel'

Palestinian media underscored that the occupation forces' artillery persistently conducts intense shelling in the eastern areas of the Khan Younis governorate. Simultaneously, the Resistance actively confronts attacks in the area.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that ambulances were unable to reach the targeted areas due to the ongoing bombardment by occupation forces, coinciding with IOF incursions and subsequent confrontations with the Fesistance. This is particularly evident in Khan Younis, where fierce confrontations persist between the resistance and the occupation forces in the northern and eastern parts of the city.

Media sources have confirmed to Al Mayadeen that Israeli warships are actively firing at the southern coastal areas of the Gaza Strip, targeting the shores of Khan Younis and Rafah.

Occupation drones targeted the European Hospital in the eastern and southern parts of Khan Younis, firing at the hospital. Additionally, Israeli occupation artillery targeted the Qaizan al-Najjar and Jourat al-Lot areas in the southern regions of the city.

Intense bombing on central Gaza Strip

In the central Gaza Strip, the Israeli army intensified its attacks amid fierce clashes in the region, as reported by sources. The sources indicated powerful Israeli airstrikes on the central area, specifically in Deir al-Balah.

Local Palestinian media outlets have reported 18 martyrs as a result of Israeli occupation airstrikes on several homes in the city of Deir al-Balah and its surrounding areas in the central Gaza Strip.

Remember Khan Younis was once declared ‘safe’.

Unforgivable genocide.

On Monday morning, Israeli warplanes carried out a series of intense airstrikes on the Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. The occupation army intensified its fire rings in light of the fierce confrontations taking place in the region, according to the sources, indicating intense Israeli raids on the central area.

The Israeli warplanes also established rings of fire and launched a series of intense airstrikes in Rafah, which had been declared a "safe zone" by the IOF, which encouraged Palestinians to seek refuge there.

Gaza's health ministry: 22,835 registered martyrs in Gaza

For its part, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Sunday an increase in the toll of martyrs due to the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Strip since October 7th, reaching 22,835 registered martyrs.

The ministry further stated that the Israeli occupation committed 12 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip during the past day, revealing that the latest massacres resulted in 113 martyrs and 250 injuries.

In the same context, the World Health Organization in Palestine announced that its teams had to cancel a visit to Al-Awda Hospital and the pharmaceutical stores in the northern Gaza Strip for the fourth time.

It is worth noting that the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has entered its 94th consecutive day. The occupation persists in targeting civilians, with a particular focus on children and women. Additionally, it targets media and journalism crews in its attempts to distort facts, conceal the reality, and prevent the documentation of its aggressions and atrocities.
