Israeli media reported that Security Minister Yoav Galant informed Benjamin Netanyahu that he will not vote in favor of the judicial bill.

Gallant told to his associates that "the prime minister’s inner circle has not internalized the grave security situation", according to "The Times of Israel".

According to numerous reports, Gallant had intended to hold a news conference on Thursday to openly call for a halt to the legislation, due to his grave fears about the harm that would be done to the military's cohesion as more and more reservists declare evasion.

Channel 13’s correspondent revealed that "Netanyahu had asked the minister to give him a few days to try to resolve the burgeoning crisis, to which Gallant agreed", in reference to the latter's decision to postpone his press conference.

The minister gave the Prime Minister an extremely disturbing overview of the military's state and "Israel's" internal situation, warning that the possibility of rising dissatisfaction no longer just applied to reservists, but might also affect conscripts and career officers, as per media reports.

In a harshly worded letter addressed to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Israeli Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara accused the premier on Friday of violating the conflict of interest agreement that allows him to govern during his ongoing corruption trial, describing his statements Thursday night and any further involvement in the coalition's judicial overhaul plan as "illegal and tainted by a conflict of interest."

Like father like son

Netanyahu's Son, Yair Netanyahu, who is well-known for his incendiary comments, retweeted a post that suggests that the US State Department is attempting to topple Netanyahu's government probably on behalf of Iran.

The tweet argued that the US State Department is behind the protests in "Israel", with the aim of overthrowing Netanyahu, apparently in order to close an agreement with the Iranians.

Yair Netanyahu also likened the Israeli settlers protesting against his dad's juridical reforms to Nazis last week. Yair replied to a tweet that stated, "Most of the protesters didn't block roads, rather [the roads were blocked by] small Israeli SA units," a reference to the early forerunner to the Nazi SS units, who were "probably paid, who, as was the case back then, are aided by criminals working within the police and the justice system." He did this by using a lone emoji.

The son of the Prime Minister is well known for his incendiary comments on social media. The Israeli police, he stated last week, are "cooperating with the anarchists" and their actions during the anti-government demonstrations that have rocked "Israel" are a result of "a full-blown rebellion of the higher ranking leadership."
