Israeli occupation Security Minister Yoav Gallant on Tuesday appealed to Israeli military reservists, saying the Israeli security establishment is in need of reservists to face threats against the occupation, Israeli media reported.

This comes amid a wave of threats by Israeli military reservists to end their voluntary service over the Israeli occupation government's plan to approve a controversial judicial overhaul that would limit the power of the Supreme Court.

"We are allowed to disagree, we are allowed to debate and discuss, we are allowed to protest, but we are not allowed to harm, in the name of one political opinion or another," Gallant said during an event.

The Israeli Minister continued, "We need all the soldiers and all the commanders" to protect the security of "Israel".

Elsewhere, Gallant stressed that the occupation military must stay "united" and not allow "extreme statements from any side" to harm it.

Protests across occupied Palestine continue as thousands of Israeli settlers blocked off the main roads in "Tel Aviv".

The protests were urged as part of the so-called "Day of Resistance" aimed at showcasing mass opposition to the judicial overhaul, which revealed a deeply-rooted divide among Israeli society.

Protesters closed off the entrance to the Israeli occupation Ministry of Security building, according to Israeli media, which also reported that thousands have blocked access to the "Tel Aviv" Stock Exchange.

The media mentioned that demonstrators sought to cause disturbances at several train stations, demonstrate outside the public Labor Union building in "Tel Aviv," and organize a demonstration on "Kaplan Street".

In addition, Israeli media reported that Israeli police warned of an increasing “possibility of a physical confrontation" between settlers opposing the overhaul and those supporting it.
