Gantz arrives in Bahrain for joint security agreement
Israeli occupation officials are flocking to the Gulf one by one, visiting Bahrain after visiting the UAE which deepens their complicity in their crimes in the region.
Israeli Security Minister Benny Gantz arrived in the Bahraini capital Manama to sign a joint security agreement with Bahrain.
The Israeli occupation is still reaping the fruits of normalization with several Arab states, Israeli media said, and this afternoon, Israeli occupation security minister Benny Gantz arrived in Bahrain as part of a two-day visit to the Gulf state and to concoct a security bilat with Manama.
Bahraini Defense Minister Abdulla Al Nuaimi received Gantz in the Manama airport, and it is expected that he will visit the base of the Fifth US Fleet in the country.
Before landing in Bahrain, the Israeli minister's jet passed over Saudi Arabia
Gantz is also set to meet with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain and the country's premier Salman Al Khalifa, and he will be discussing with more in-depth cooperation in the Middle East.
Before landing in Bahrain, the Israeli minister's military jet passed over Saudi Arabia, which would not be possible without Riyadh's approval.
Israeli Makor Rishon newspaper military correspondent Noam Amir told Israeli Channel 13 the visit was "historical" as Gantz was meeting with all of Bahrain's major leaders.
"The security arrangements for the trip were very significant. The flight was chartered with complete secrecy, and it was supposed to take place last weekend, but it was postponed for today," he told the Israeli channel.
"At the end of the day, he landed here after all this secrecy," he said, adding that one of the reasons behind the stealth was the course of the flight, "[The plane] passed over a country that was supposed to remain a secret, and that is Saudi Arabia."
The Israeli trip to Bahrain was not "Tel Aviv's" first in the region, as occupation President Isaac Herzog went to the UAE a few days ago, where he met Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The flight marks the first time that an Israeli military aircraft is allowed to fly openly in the airspace of this country
During the talks, the two discussed the recent Yemeni retaliation against the UAE in light of the UAE-Saudi-led coalition's massacres against the Yemeni people.
The attacks on Abu Dhabi have raised concerns within the Israeli occupation's core, as they have realized that Ansar Allah would be able to reach them with ease using either missiles or drones.
Herzog arrived in Abu Dhabi on Sunday as part of a presidential visit to the UAE where he was received by the Minister of International Cooperation, Abdullah bin Zayed.
His plane also passed over Saudi airspace before landing in Abu Dhabi, underlining Saudi complicity in the normalization process with the Israeli occupation. The flight marks the first time that an Israeli military aircraft is allowed to fly openly in the airspace of this country, according to the Ynet Israeli website.
Israeli website Intelli Times said the Israeli security minister's visit to Bahrain was accompanied by a military refueling plane over Saudi Arabia. The website also speculated about the possibility that the flight, at least part of it, was accompanied by fighter jets.
