Gaza genocide most dangerous US-Israeli expulsion plot: Government
The Gaza government media office underlines that the Israeli occupation is carrying out a campaign of ethnic cleansing to displace the people of the blockaded strip.
The Government Media Office in Gaza released a special report on Monday detailing the unprecedented brutality being perpetrated by Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip, now entering its 374th day since the escalation began on October 7, 2023.
The report stressed that "the Israeli army is spreading lies and attempting to mislead the public about delivering trucks of flour to the northern Gaza governorate, while maintaining a complete and continuous siege for 170 days on Gaza and northern governorates, blocking all humanitarian access points."
The office also highlighted that "the occupation continues to commit genocide and mass extermination, killing more than 342 people and wounding hundreds of civilians, including children and women, in an ongoing massacre that has lasted for 10 straight days without pause."
The report pointed out that the situation in northern Gaza constitutes "actual and deliberate genocide and ethnic cleansing," with total destruction of homes, residential neighborhoods, streets, infrastructure, hospitals, schools, mosques, and vital sectors.
Most dangerous US-Israeli plan
The Gaza Government Media Office emphasized that these events are part of "the most dangerous American-Israeli occupation and displacement plan," describing it as "the largest and most dangerous scheme of the 21st century."
The report renewed its plea to the international community, calling on all free nations and international organizations to "apply all forms of pressure on the criminal Israeli occupation by all available means and methods" to "stop the genocide, the war of extermination, and the ethnic cleansing in Gaza, particularly in the northern Gaza governorate."
Additionally, the report condemned the Israeli occupation forces' "systematic killings and starvation of civilians and displaced persons in northern Gaza," while also criticizing the occupation's attempts to "collapse the healthcare system and turn the north into a zone of total ruin and destruction."
The Gaza Government Media Office urged the global community and all nations to "condemn these ongoing crimes" and held the Israeli occupation, the US administration, and all participating countries, including the United Kingdom, Germany, and France, fully responsible for the continued atrocities over the past year.
These countries are "criminals responsible for failing to halt the brutal war against our defenseless Palestinian people."
In conclusion, the report warned the international community and all international organizations that the Israeli occupation forces are engaging in "clear-cut acts of eradication, a war to eliminate civilians, and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people." The office called on all parties to "take immediate and practical actions to stop these crimes against humanity."
1 year of genocide
Marking the one year of the Israeli onslaught, Ismail Thawabta, Director General of the Government Media Office, delivered a heartfelt statement detailing the scale of devastation. He reported that the occupiers have killed more than 16,000 Palestinian children, including 171 infants, while 11,400 women have been martyred.
Thawabta's statement underscored the complete 902 Palestinian families who have been completely wiped out, their names erased from civil records in a horrific act of collective punishment. He further noted that in a year, the Israeli occupation carried out over 3,600 massacres and systematically flattened entire residential neighborhoods.
These crimes have been enabled through US-supplied weapons and military support, further highlighting the complicity of international actors in the ongoing destruction of Gaza, according to Thawabta.
Meanwhile, over two million people remain displaced, facing dire conditions of inadequate healthcare and nutrition. Malnutrition rates are skyrocketing, depriving children of essential needs such as formula milk, vital supplements, and vaccinations.
He emphasized that the Israeli bombardment continues unabated, with 187 shelters targeted, resulting in the deaths of over 1,060 individuals seeking refuge. Additionally, medical facilities lie in ruins, medical personnel are increasingly being killed, and critical healthcare services are collapsing under this relentless assault.
The Israeli occupation has also cut off Gaza from the rest of the world, denying 25,000 patients and injured people access to vital medical treatment outside Gaza. Meanwhile, the occupation forces have targeted and killed 175 journalists, attempting to silence any voices that speak against their genocidal campaign.
