Gaza Interior Ministry: Mossad involved in assassinating Fadi Al-Batsh in Malaysia
According to a spokesperson for the Gaza Ministry of Interior, the confessions of one of the detainees in the case of martyr Fadi Al-Batsh's assassination confirms that it was ordered by the Israeli Mossad.
The Spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior in Gaza, Iyad Al-Bazm, announced that within the framework of the security services' follow-up of the assassination of martyr Fadi Al-Batsh in Malaysia on April 21, 2018, and through the ongoing investigations of the Internal Security, the confessions of one of the detainees revealed the Mossad's involvement.
Al-Bazm added that "the confessions of one of the detainees confirmed that the assassination was commissioned by the Israeli Mossad," explaining that "investigations are being completed in the case."
Security sources revealed, yesterday, Saturday, to Palestine Today news agency, the details behind arresting the agent who murdered Fadi Al-Batsh in Malaysia, noting that the killer was handed over to the security services in Gaza in a complicated operation.
The sources added that the killer entered the Gaza Strip because he needed money, so he called the Israeli officer who had instructed him to kill Fadi Al-Batsh directly, and during the call, the officer asked him, "Where are you?" He replied, “I am in Gaza," so the officer went crazy over the fact that he returned to Gaza after what he had done.
The sources added to the agency that the agent was surprised that the Resistance intelligence listening services traced the call, and he was arrested immediately, and the agent admitted that he carried out the mission in Malaysia with another person also commissioned by the Mossad.
It is noteworthy that unidentified people in Malaysia assassinated the Palestinian academic and university lecturer, Fadi Muhammad Al-Batsh, at the age of 35, while he was on his way to pray in the mosque near his home, on April 21, 2018.
