The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that 79 Palestinians were martyred over the past 24 hours due to the ongoing Israeli assault on the Gaza Strip. Among them were five individuals whose bodies were recovered from under the rubble. An additional 289 Palestinians sustained injuries during the same period.

Emergency and civil defense teams face severe challenges in reaching those trapped under debris or stranded on roads amid ongoing bombardments.

The cumulative toll since October 7, 2023, now stands at 56,077 martyrs and 131,848 injuries. Notably, since March 18, 2025, the number of martyrs has reached 5,759, with 19,807 injuries recorded.

On that note, Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza reported that 40 Palestinians were killed as a result of ongoing Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip since dawn Tuesday, after the strikes targeted various areas, including residential neighborhoods and locations where displaced persons and civilians were gathered.

25 Palestinians were martyred and more than 150 were injured when the occupation forces struck a crowd waiting for humanitarian aid near the Netzarim junction in the central Gaza Strip. The attack caused widespread devastation among civilians awaiting relief.

Medical sources at Al-Awda Hospital in al-Nuseirat confirmed that the facility received 19 martyrs and 146 injured individuals following shelling that targeted hundreds of citizens on Salah al-Din Street, south of Wadi Gaza.

The sources indicated that at least 62 of the injured were in critical condition, straining the already overwhelmed medical infrastructure.

This came after Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported on Monday that 10 people were martyred and a large number of injured individuals were transported to al-Shifa Hospital after Israeli forces opened fire on a crowd of civilians waiting for food aid in the al-Waha area, northwest of Gaza City.

In a separate attack, our correspondent confirmed that three Palestinians were killed and others wounded when Israeli aircraft targeted a group of civilians near the al-Hashimiya School in the al-Tuffah neighborhood, northeast of the city.
