Gaza Resistance says 12 IOF killed, injured in Jabalia ambush
The Palestinian Resistance in Gaza continues to confront the advancement of Israeli occupation forces in northern Gaza with all means.
Palestinian Resistance factions continued Friday their operations against Israeli forces across various battlefronts in Gaza, part of the ongoing Operation al-Aqsa Flood in response to the Israeli genocide in Gaza.
The al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, executed a complex operation in the al-Kasayeb neighborhood of Jabalia, northern Gaza. According to a statement, al-Qassam fighters targeted an Israeli armored personnel carrier with a Yassin-105 anti-tank RPG and struck a house sheltering 12 Israeli soldiers with a TBG missile, resulting in casualties among the soldiers.
In a continuation of this operation, al-Qassam reported that its fighters used a high-explosive device to target a Merkava tank as three Israeli soldiers attempted to flee toward it. The military wing also released footage showing one of its fighters hitting an Israeli Achzarit armored personnel carrier east of Jabalia with an al-Yassin 105 RPG.

Simultaneously, the al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement, launched a salvo of 107mm rockets at Israeli command and control positions around the Abu Jarad station, east of Rafah in southern Gaza.
The al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades also shared footage of its fighters targeting an Israeli command headquarters in Juhr al-Dik with short-range 107mm rockets.

In related developments, earlier today, the Israeli military admitted to the killing of an officer from the Shaked Battalion in the Givati Brigade, who succumbed to injuries sustained in an explosion in Rafah over a month ago. The officer had been critically injured in a September 17 incident that also left four other soldiers wounded.
Additionally, just days earlier, an Israeli military spokesperson confirmed the recent killings of an officer and three soldiers, as well as the severe injury of another officer during ongoing battles in Jabalia, northern Gaza.
Mounting Israeli losses
The al-Qassam Brigades destroyed Thursday an Israeli armored personnel carrier with an anti-tank shell west of Jabalia’s civil defense headquarters. They also reported the destruction of an Israeli Merkava tank with two high-explosive devices near Jabalia.
Al-Qassam previously announced the destruction of four Merkava tanks, an armored personnel carrier, and two Israeli military bulldozers (D9) in Beit Lahia on Wednesday.
Upon returning from the front lines, the al-Qassam fighters confirmed targeting a third Merkava with an al-Yassin 105 shell in the Beit Lahia project area as well.
Additionally, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s al-Quds Brigades claimed responsibility for destroying an Israeli armored vehicle by detonating a pre-planted Thaqib explosive device in the al-Atatra area in northern Gaza.
In the same area, the al-Qassam fighters detonated an Israeli armored personnel carrier and targeted a Merkava 3 tank with two Shawaz explosive devices. Subsequently, the fighters targeted a maintenance crew advancing toward the vehicles' locations using an anti-personnel device that left several casualties and injuries among the occupation forces.
The Israeli military confirmed that four of its soldiers were injured in Gaza over the past 24 hours. Israeli newspaper Haaretz revealed that Hamas targeted a residence shortly after Israeli Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi left it, following a field assessment with Israeli forces engaged in operations in northern Gaza. A missile was reportedly fired at the residence during Halevi’s visit, narrowly missing him.
Haaretz also reported an increase in Israeli soldier fatalities in Gaza last month, primarily due to explosive devices detonating within buildings. October saw 17 Israeli soldiers killed in Gaza, with 11 of them reportedly dying from IEDs hidden inside buildings rather than by anti-tank missiles.
