George Santos sending Cameo videos following Congress boot
After being kicked out by Congress, George Santos spared no time in setting up a Cameo account, listing himself as a "former congressional ‘Icon’!"
Being expelled from Congress was no issue for former Representative George Santos, as he has listed his name and availability as "former congressional 'Icon'!" to the website Cameo, which allows thousands of celebrities to respond to a request for "a personalized video message for any occasion".
His most recent uploads include a congratulations note to "Paige", a birthday tribute to "Jack", and a message to "Megan", who is a state senator in Omaha’s district eight, Megan Hunt, which shows Santos offering a pep talk.
"Screw the haters, the haters are going to hate. They can boot me out of Congress, but they can’t take away my good humor or my larger-than-life personality," he tells "Megan" in his video, adding, "Be yourself, unapologetically, love yourself."

Santos claimed he joined Cameo for "having fun and connecting with all you folks", adding, "I have no goals, just going with the flow and living life".
"My community service will be to clean up Congress of its corrupt frauds in a Bipartisan way. My road to redemption will be serving the American people!" he said on X.
Parting words
The last words he said to Congress before leaving were, "Why would I want to stay here? To hell with this place," as Santos proceeded to attack colleagues such as representative Nicole Malliotakis for "questionable stock trading", Mike Lawler on campaign expenses, and Nick LaLota for being a "no-show" at his last job.
To get a video message from Santos, the cost is currently $200 and he is reportedly open to talk about a range of things from birthdays, and holidays to pep talks.

According to Business Insider, he sold each video for $75 but hours later, the price increased.
Santos, who played a role in helping the Republicans secure a narrow majority in 2022, quickly became embroiled in controversy as it surfaced that nearly his entire personal and professional history was a fabrication.
The politician faces federal charges, including theft, credit card fraud, money laundering, and identity theft. The tipping point, however, came with a congressional ethics investigation that presented "overwhelming evidence" of misconduct.
The probe accused Santos of attempting to "fraudulently exploit every aspect of his House candidacy."
Santos is the sixth person to be expelled from the House in American history, as three of the five who have been voted out were for fighting against the US in the Civil War. Santos' trial is scheduled to take place on September 9, 2024, ahead of the elections that would determine control of the White House and both congressional chambers.
