Hamas: 'Israel' falsifying news on leadership for false triumphs
A source in the Hamas movement tells Al Mayadeen that the Israeli occupation is attempting to fabricate achievements after failing to accomplish its stated objectives in the Gaza war 136 days later.
A leading source within the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas confirmed to Al Mayadeen on Monday that the Israeli occupation is fabricating information concerning the movement and its leadership in Gaza.
The source elaborated that this Israeli tactic, whereby the occupation claims imaginary accomplishments, is driven by its failure to target the leaders of the Resistance, despite 136 days of aggression resulting only in massacres against Palestinian civilians.
The source stressed that the occupation's fabrication of news related to the movement's leader in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar, is "ridiculous" and comes in an attempt to "raise the morale of the Israeli army and the collapsed entity."
He added that the claims made by Israeli Security Minister Yoav Gallant regarding disagreements within the Hamas leadership and the search for an alternative to Sinwar are dismissed as hot air and viewed as a form of psychological warfare.
Gallant alleged that "Hamas does not trust its leaders, and the Hamas branch in Gaza is not responding because there is no one to talk to on the ground." Additionally, he claimed that "the movement’s leadership abroad is seeking leadership inside the Gaza Strip instead of Sinwar."
Exposing another Israeli lie.

The truth of how 'Israel' retrieved two Gaza captives
A few days ago, the Israeli occupation forces claimed on February 16th that during a joint operation with Shin Bet and the Israeli Police, they were able to retrieve two Israeli captives held in Rafah by the Palestinian Resistance in Gaza, while simultaneously massacring over 100 Palestinian civilians and injuring tens of others.
Following the retrieval of the captives, Israeli media and journalists narrated a web of tales praising the heroic but complex success of the operation, while Israeli generals and officials celebrated the accomplishment.
What happened during the Israeli operation? And were the two Israelis held captive by the Resistance?
Reliable sources revealed to Al Mayadeen the chronology of events of the operation on February 12, exposing the fallacy of the Israeli narrative as nothing more than an unraveling fictitious charade that unveils the severity of "Israel's" turmoil and signifies just another tale added to the collection of lies the occupation has spread since October 7.
This comes after Israeli War Cabinet members former Security Minister Benny Gantz and former Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot threatened Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with the dissolution of the War Cabinet on Friday evening.
According to public Israeli broadcaster KAN, Gantz and Eisenkot issued their threat during a meeting held on Thursday, where they informed Netanyahu of their stance if he continues to make significant decisions without consulting them regarding the Israeli captives in the Gaza Strip.
