Hamas calls Arab, int'l community to resupply Gaza with its needs
Hamas movement says the occupation keeps committing war crimes in Gaza, and calls on Arab and Islamic countries, in addition to the international community to oblige the occupation to open the crossings and allow the Gaza Strip to be resupplied with its needs.
Hamas called today on Arab and Islamic countries and the international community to supply the Gaza Strip with equipment, fuel, medical and food supplies.
In a statement, the movement called on the Arab and Islamic nations in addition to the international community to oblige the occupation to open the crossings and allow the sector to be resupplied with its needs.
Hamas stressed the need not to allow the occupation to impose its will on a nation on whose behalf the Palestinian people defend al-Quds and al-Aqsa, saying that the occupation continues to commit war crimes in Gaza, including the systematic destruction of all infrastructure and citizens' homes.
The brutal Israeli aggression continues to bomb the Gaza Strip for the fifth day in a row. The Ministry of the Interior in Gaza said that the occupation keeps launching violent and continuous raids east of the Jabaliya camp in northern Gaza, targeting its homes and the streets, which led to direct injuries among the defenseless citizens.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported earlier today that the number of martyrs from the Israeli aggression had risen to reach 1,055 martyrs, noting that 5,184 people have been reported injured and more than 140,000 people sought refuge after their homes were destroyed through air raids and white phosphorous.
The Ministry also reported that the Israeli occupation is deliberately targeting medical teams, healthcare institutions, and ambulances to stifle rescue operations. The Health Ministry added that medical teams are working in dangerous and unsafe conditions, but they remain committed to their duties towards their people.

The abovementioned Ministry called on international bodies to take "effective steps" to protect medical teams, health institutions, and ambulances.
In turn, Palestinian Minister of Health Mai Alkaila appealed to the international community to allow all medicines and medical supplies to enter the Gaza Strip.
This was followed by the Israeli forces conducting air raids on the densely populated Gaza Strip, where 2.3 million people reside in a small, congested area.
Additionally, UNOCHA (Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs) reported that 263,934 individuals in Gaza have been forced to evacuate their homes since the onset of the Israeli aggression against the region.
