Hamas official killed in Israeli strike on vehicle in Southern Lebanon
In the aftermath of the attack, residents of Ain al-Helweh staged a march in condemnation of "Israel's" aggression.
Al Mayadeen correspondent to Southern Lebanon reported on Friday that a drone strike targeted a civilian vehicle in the southern Lebanese city of Sidon.
In a statement, the Hamas Movement announced the martyrdom of official Samer Al-Hajj, who was killed in "a treacherous Zionist raid" in the city of Sidon, southern Lebanon.
Al Mayadeen correspondent reported seeing emergency personnel retrieve a charred body from the vehicle as soldiers secured the area.

In January 2024, an Israeli drone strike in Beirut killed Saleh al-Arouri, a top Hamas official. Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that an Israeli drone targeted the building with three missiles, resulting in the martyrdom of six individuals.
