Hamas releases an American mother, daughter on 'humanitarian' grounds
This comes after Biden made the mistake of posting a photo of the US Special Forces he said he would deploy to free US captives. The White House later apologized after doxxing their identities.
Hamas released two captive US citizens on "humanitarian grounds," the spokesman for the Al-Qassam Brigades Abu Obaida announced on Friday.
"In response to Qatar's efforts, we released two detained US women (mother and daughter) on humanitarian grounds to prove to the US people and the world that the allegations of [US President Joe] Biden and his fascist administration are unfounded lies," Abu Obaida said in a statement released by Hamas.

This also comes in the context of accusations held against Qatar for its alleged support of Hamas.
Last Wednesday, the Treasury announced it was placing sanctions on several individuals and entities over their alleged ties to Hamas, including individuals hailing from Qatar.
On October 16, Abu Obeida said that the resistance held about 250 captives and that the IOF was spreading false rumors to cover up its significant failures.
The rumors that the spokesman was referring to were the fabricated claims about the beheading of 40 babies, along with a slew of other lies.
