Senior Hamas official Osama Hamdan stressed that the Al-Qassam Brigades, the Al-Quds Brigades, and the Resistance continue to manage the battle in Gaza with strength and power.
During a press conference, Hamdan affirmed that the prerequisite for any prisoner exchange deal is the complete cessation of aggression on Gaza. He also revealed that the movement presented to Qatar and Egypt a proposal that achieves its demands, but was met with procrastination from the Zionist entity.
Touching on the situation in Gaza, Hamdan highlighted that 800,000 Palestinians are experiencing a real famine due to the Israeli occupation preventing the entry of necessary supplies into the Strip.
He pointed out that the medicines that the Palestinian Resistance is providing to the held captives are running out due to the Israeli blockade and aggression, pointing out that any initiative to bring medicines to the captives must include bringing medicines to the Palestinians in Gaza.
The senior Hamas official noted that more than 7,000 people, mostly children and women, are still missing under the rubble, adding that the Israeli occupation carried out more than 2,000 massacres against civilians in Gaza, resulting in over 21,000 martyrs.
Regarding the situation in the occupied West Bank, Hamdan underlined that the Resistance there will not be deterred by assassination from performing its duty, calling on the Palestinian Authority's (PA) security forces to direct their weapons toward the Israeli occupation forces.
He suggested that national solidarity demonstrated among the Palestinian people confirms that this people embraces its Resistance and believes that its strategic choice is resistance, stressing the need for increasing resistance acts and for all national forces to stand united in the face of the Israeli occupation and its Nazi practices against the Palestinian people.
The Palestinian official considered that the continuation of the Israeli occupation in its crimes represents a "historical stain of shame" for all those who have restrained until now from criminalizing "Israel".
Hamdan affirmed that the US administration is complicit in killing the Palestinian people and will not be exempt from legal and ethical accountability.
In a related context, the Hamas official indicated that by partnering up with "Israel" and supporting the genocide it is committing, the German government "is reviving Nazi history in its worst forms."
The German government on Friday rejected accusations by South Africa before the UN's top court that "Israel" is committing genocide in Gaza and warned against what it called the "political instrumentalisation" of the charge.
Hamdan condemned the US-British aggression on Yemen and hailed the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement's stances and the Yemeni Armed Forces.
He also welcomed the announcement made by the head of the International Union of Muslim Scholars of his intention to enter the Gaza Strip and break the Israeli siege imposed on it.
The Palestinian official warned that "every new day of the Israeli aggression against our people represents a real threat to the lives of the captives held by the Resistance," underlining that in the face of the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and the bravery of their Resistance, "the enemies will not succeed in achieving any of their goals."
He concluded by saying that the formation of any Palestinian government is a purely Palestinian matter and has nothing to do with the United States or any other side.
