Hezbollah: Al-Saadi's assassination part of US crimes in region
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, Hezbollah, released a statement condemning the US' assassination of martyred Iraqi leader Hajj Wisam Muhammad Saber (Abu Baqir Al-Saadi) with strike on Baghdad.
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, Hezbollah, released a statement on Thursday, condemning the assassination of Iraqi leader martyr Hajj Wisam Mohammed Saber (Abu Baqer Al-Saadi) and his companions, in Baghdad, at the hands of the US, earlier on Wednesday.
"Hezbollah strongly condemns the assassination crime of the martyr leader Hajj Wisam Mohammed Saber (Abu Baqer Al-Saadi) and a group of his martyr brothers at the hands of the US occupation forces in Iraq, considering it a continuation of its previous crimes and its ongoing aggression against the peoples of our nation in Iraq, Syria, and Yemen, and a flagrant violation of Iraq's sovereignty, security, and stability," the statement read.
Moreover, Hezbollah reaffirmed its confidence in the Resistance movements of the region saying "[we] have full confidence in the fighters from our Iraqi people, who are determined to adhere to the path of Resistance and liberation, and to continue supporting and assisting the oppressed Palestinian people."
"This sinful assassination will only increase their determination to continue on this path," Hezbollah accentuated.
In conclusion, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon expressed, "We extend our deepest condolences to our brothers in the Hezbollah Brigades in Iraq and to the families of the martyrs," adding "We ask Allah to grant the dear martyrs the highest ranks, and to grant their honorable families patience, acceptance, and divine dignity."
US assassinates Kataib hezbollah in Iraq leader in Baghdad
The US claimed responsibility for an assassination attack that targeted a car driving through a road in eastern Baghdad, Iraq, led to the martyrdom of a prominent leader of Iraq's Kataib Hezbollah, Abu Baqer al-Saedi, saying its forces conducted a unilateral strike in Iraq in response to the attacks on US service members, killing a Kataib Hezbollah commander.
The US Central Command (CENTCOM) claimed that the targeted commander was "responsible for directly planning and participating in attacks on US forces in the region."
