Hezbollah attacks two newly-established Israeli sites in north
Hezbollah continues its operations against the Israeli occupation forces, attacking two newly-established sites in the process.
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah launched a series of drone attacks on Monday targeting Israeli military positions in northern occupied Palestine. The attacks were aimed at the newly established headquarters of the Israeli occupation forces near Safed and other strategic locations.
Hezbollah issued a statement in which it confirmed that the operation involved a swarm of drones that "successfully hit their intended targets with precision."
The drones targeted the headquarters of the 91st Division in Ayelet HaShahar, near Safed.
In a separate operation, Hezbollah's drones targeted the newly established headquarters of the 146th Division in the Shiraga barracks, as a show of support for the resilient Palestinian people in Gaza and in response to recent Israeli attacks and assassinations in Sidon, southern Lebanon.
Hezbollah also struck Israeli espionage equipment earlier on Monday at the Ramiya site with a drone, causing severe damage.
The situation on the ground escalated further, with reports from southern Lebanon indicating that Israeli artillery fired flares east of the al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza. Additionally, direct fire was reported from Lebanon towards the vicinity of the Natua settlement in western al-Jalil.
Earlier reports confirmed that drones had targeted a military base north of the occupied city of Akka, with interceptor missiles detonating in the skies over western al-Jalil.
Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes on several villages, including Tayr Harfa, Qusayr, Haneen, Kfar Kila, and al-Taybeh.
Israeli media also reported that air raid sirens were sounded in six settlements in the north amid fears of hostile aircraft entering from Lebanon.
The reports described the situation in the north as dire, with the Manara settlement reportedly suffering significant damage and destruction.
Hezbollah eroding Israeli deterrence
Former major general and former head of the Military Operations Division in the Israeli occupation forces, Israel Ziv, expressed concern that "the achievements of the war are gradually eroding due to the complete lack of clarity in its objectives." He warned that this ambiguity is undermining the initial successes, casting doubt on the long-term strategic gains.
Channel 12 quoted Ziv as saying that Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah "imposed a long-term war of attrition on Israel," describing the situation as Hezbollah "mainly fueling a smoldering conflict in Israel for about a year, with dozens of settlements being subjected to intense bombardment that has now become a regular, daily routine."
He highlighted the persistent nature of the threat, which has entrenched itself in the daily lives of those in the affected areas.

Ziv also noted that these attacks, which have been met with silence from the Israeli government, are "an admission of the erasure of Israeli deterrence." He characterized this as "a great achievement for Hezbollah."
From a strategic standpoint, Ziv stressed that "Israel is in a state of continuous erosion, which is leading to the loss of points against Hezbollah." He warned that this gradual weakening of "Israel's" position is a concerning trend, further emboldening Hezbollah and diminishing "Israel's" regional standing.
