Hezbollah bombards Israeli sites following strikes on Bekaa
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon bombards Israeli settlements and military sites in response to the ongoing massacres in Lebanon.
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah launched a series of drone and rocket attacks on key Israeli military targets, including the headquarters of the 7th Armored Brigade of the Golan's 210th Division at the Katsavya barracks. According to a statement from Hezbollah's Military Media, the attacks targeted the positions of Israeli officers and soldiers, hitting their objectives with precision.
Hezbollah announced that these operations were conducted in support of the "steadfast Palestinian people in Gaza and in solidarity with their valiant and honorable Resistance," as well as in retaliation for the recent Israeli assault on the Bekaa region in Lebanon.
In addition to the drone strike, Hezbollah fighters shelled the Mettat and Shomera barracks, along with surrounding Israeli assembly points, with a barrage of Grad rockets. This attack was carried out in response to the Israeli assault and assassination in the town of Dhayrah.
The Islamic Resistance also released a series of statements detailing further operations, including heavy artillery shelling of the Ramyah site, rocket attacks on the Marj site, and targeting surveillance equipment at the Jal al-Alam site, all of which resulted in direct hits.
Furthermore, Hezbollah fired volleys of Grad rockets at the headquarters of the 146th Division in Gaaton.
Earlier on Tuesday, Hezbollah had also bombed the command center of the Golan 210th Division at the Nafah barracks and the artillery regiment and armored brigade headquarters of the same division at the Yarden barracks.
The group confirmed that these early attacks of the day were in support of the resilient people of Gaza and their resistance and in response to the Israeli aggression in the Bekaa region.
Israeli media reported significant damage in northern settlements due to Hezbollah's rocket strikes. Israeli channel Makan stated that, amidst the ongoing bombardment of Kiryat Shmona, local authorities have instructed residents who remained in the settlement to stay close to safe zones until further notice, following guidelines issued by the Israeli occupation forces.
Anticipation killing 'Israel'
This comes amid fear within the Israeli occupation of an anticipated retaliatory strike from both Iran and Hezbollah over the assassination of senior resistance commanders.
Israeli media confirmed that Hezbollah’s threats and the prolonged anticipation of an Iranian response are pushing settlers to the brink, stating, “We cannot tolerate uncertainty. The anxiety of knowing we will be hit with an electric shock is easier to bear than not knowing when it will come.”
The Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported that assessments suggest Hezbollah will indeed strike and is merely waiting for the opportune moment.
The newspaper also highlighted that in addition to concerns over the fate of Israelis in Gaza and the settlers’ wish to return to the settlements they were forced to abandon, "Israel" is grappling with an increasingly surreal situation as it anxiously awaits a response.
The report emphasized that the only thing worse than a disaster is the dread of its arrival—the uncertainty surrounding when, how, and with what intensity it will occur. It noted, “The anxiety is fueled by the prolonged wait in a state of uncertainty.”
