Hezbollah carries out 7 operations against IOF, mourns five fighters

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon fighters continue to pound Israeli military sites and gatherings at the Lebanese-Palestinian border.

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah announced on Monday that its fighters carried out seven operations against Israeli occupation military sites and gatherings at the Lebanese-Palestinian borders.
Hezbollah reiterated that these operations come in support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in solidarity with their noble Resistance, as well as in response to Israeli attacks on villages and civilian homes. The operations come as follows:
- At 2:40 pm, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted the espionage equipment at al-Radar site with a guided missile, achieving a direct hit.
- At 3:15 pm, Hezbollah fighters targeted "Biranit Barracks" with a Falaq 1 rocket, achieving a direct hit.
- At 3:25 pm, Resistance fighters targeted "Zar'it Barracks" with Falaq 1 rockets, achieving direct hits.
- Also at 3:25 pm, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted with appropriate weapons a building in the "Yir'on" settlement where Israeli occupation soldiers were holed up, achieving direct hits.
- At 5:05 pm, Hezbollah targeted with appropriate weapons a building in the "Avivim" settlement where Israeli soldiers were holed up, achieving direct hits.
- At 5:55 pm, the Resistance targeted the Zibdine site in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms with missiles, inflicting a direct hit.
- At 6:15 pm, Hezbollah targeted a gathering of Israeli occupation forces in the vicinity of the Birket Risha site with Burkan rockets, causing direct hits.
The Lebanese Resistance group also highlighted that the total number of operations its fighters carried out during 128 days, from October 8, 2023, to February 12, 2024, reached 1,020.
In a related context, the Islamic Resistance announced the martyrdom of five of its fighters; Mohammad Baqer Hassan Bassam "Khomeini" from the town of Ainata and Ali Ahmad Mhanna "Malik" from the town of Maroun al-Ras, as well as Hussein Jamil Harisi (Sajed), Hassan Ahmad Turmos (Karrar), and Ahmad Hussein Turmos (Hilal), all of three from the town of Tallousa.

Similarly, the al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement, mourned its Resistance fighters Mohammad Fares (Abu Jihad) and Suleiman Suleiman (Abu Talib), who were martyred while performing their combat duty on the Lebanese border with occupied Palestine.
