Hezbollah’s Media Relations Officer, Mohammad Afif, claimed from Beirut’s Southern Suburb the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon's responsibility for the operation targeting the residence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Caesarea.

During a press conference on Tuesday, Afif addressed Netanyahu, warning, "The eyes of the Resistance's fighters are watching and their ears are listening. If we did not reach you this time, we have the days, nights, and the battlefield between us."

Afif confirmed that the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, along with its control and coordination system, is in "excellent condition", adding that "Hezbollah's military and logistical support lines have returned to their previous state."

He also addressed the Israeli occupation leaders, saying, "Iron for iron, blood for blood, and fire for fire," referring to a tit-for-tat action by Hezbollah.

According to the Hezbollah official, the daily rate of the operations carried out by the Resistance is on the rise, recording an average of around 25 operations per day.

Afif vowed that the bombardment of the northern and central Israeli-occupied territories would continue with increasing intensity in both quality and quantity over time.

No justification for 'Israel's' assault on al-Qard al-Hassan

The official underscored that the Israeli pretexts and claims about the presence of weapons depots in Beirut's Southern Suburb have been debunked, adding that there is no justification for the bombing of the al-Qard al-Hassan institutions other than undermining trust between the Lebanese people and Hezbollah.

He also emphasized that Hezbollah does not receive its salaries or military funding from this institution, affirming that the al-Qard al-Hassan has prepared for this day and will fulfill its duties toward its depositors.

Afif held "Israel" responsible for the well-being of the Resistance fighters held by Israeli occupation forces, calling on the Red Cross to ensure this.

"On the issue of captives currently held by the enemy, I say: I know that the enemy is not committed to the ethics of war and international conventions but it bears the responsibility of preserving the lives of the captives," he said.

"What the Israeli enemy extracts from prisoners under pressure holds no value," he added.

The Hezbollah official underlined that "it won't be long before the Resistance in Lebanon takes enemy soldiers captive, and we will negotiate for their release."

No ceasefire negotiations under fire

Regarding US support for "Israel", Afif indicated that the United States is complicit in the aggression on Lebanon and is prolonging it, affirming that the arrival of its envoy Amos Hochstein in Beirut does not change Hezbollah's view that Washington is the "mother of terrorism."

Hezbollah’s Media Relations Officer reiterated the Resistance’s trust in Lebanese Speaker Nabih Berri, asserting that "there will be no negotiations [regarding a ceasefire] under fire."

He condemned the series of massacres committed by the Israeli occupation forces in recent days, particularly in Mhaibib, Nabatieh, and Baalbek, noting that these atrocities followed the Resistance's strikes on Israeli camps and bases in occupied Haifa.

Condemnation of Arab media bias toward 'Israel'

In a related context, Afif strongly condemned the bias of Arab media outlets like MBC and others in favor of Netanyahu, stressing that "freedom of the press does not grant immunity to incitement to murder."

Addressing those in Lebanon who side with "Israel", Afif said, "For a moment, you thought it was over, and that a regime led by Awkar (a reference to the US embassy in Lebanon) had taken hold, but you misunderstood Lebanon’s reality."

He added, "I don't understand why you are upset when we strike Tel Aviv. It bothers you that Hezbollah has regained its capabilities, as even the enemy admits, yet you refuse to believe it."
