Hezbollah confronts IOF advancement in Khiam, destroys tank in Chama

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon continues repelling Israeli attempts to advance in the southern city of Khiam and shelling military targets in northern occupied Palestine.

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah launched Saturday a series of targeted operations against Israeli forces and settlements, starting right after midnight with a salvo of rockets at the settlement of Kiryat Shmona as Resistance operations intensified against the Israeli occupation in light of its aggression on Lebanon.
Another barrage targeted a grouping of Israeli soldiers east of the city of Khiam on multiple occasions, striking the same area four times throughout the day.
Hezbollah underlined that the operations were in support of the steadfast Palestinian people in Gaza, and in solidarity with their noble and courageous resistance, as well as in defense of Lebanon and its people
Further strikes were carried out against Israeli military gatherings, including at the Deir Mimas-Kfar Kila junction, as well as near Hanita settlement, where a grouping of Israeli soldiers was also targeted. Settlements such as Avivim and Dishon were not spared, with each coming under rocket fire.
In addition to the rocket attacks, Resistance fighters engaged an advancing Israeli force on the eastern outskirts of al-Bayyada. The clashes resulted in casualties among the advancing troops, with the confrontations still ongoing at the time of the statement's release.
Moreover, Hezbollah's fighters targeted an Israeli Merkava tank with a guided missile west of the town of Chama, resulting in its destruction and leaving its crew members either killed or injured.
Khiam: An unbreachable fortress
Amid six days of intense fighting, Hezbollah continues to thwart Israeli attempts to capture the southern Lebanese town of Khiam. The resistance movement has maintained a strategy aimed at inflicting maximum losses on the Israeli occupation forces' 210th Division, consistent with its actions across other flashpoints.
Despite relentless Israeli airstrikes, artillery bombardments, and ground assaults since the start of Operation al-Aqsa Flood, Hezbollah has prevented Israeli forces from advancing into Khiam. This marks the second Israeli offensive against the town, with no signs of success thus far.
On Saturday, intense confrontations erupted west of Khiam, with the sound of explosions and heavy gunfire continuing into the morning. Resistance fighters launched swarms of drones and rocket salvos throughout the night, targeting Israeli troop groupings in the area.
According to field reports, the strikes disrupted Israeli command structures, leading to multiple injuries and a withdrawal of forces toward al-Omra, south of Khiam.
Israeli forces were also seen retreating eastward with their vehicles toward Wadi al-Khiam near the border.
