The Lebanese resistance, Hezbollah, has extended its congratulations to the leadership and the people of Iran after Iran unleashed retaliatory strikes on "Israel," after their attack on Tehran's embassy in Damascus.

The statement by the Lebanese resistance, Hezbollah congratulated the "qualitative and unprecedented attack targeting the unjust and aggressor enemy entity." The resistance movement further praised the "brave and wise decision" to respond to Israeli aggression.

The Islamic Republic, Hezbollah continued, exercised its "natural and legal right" despite threats, intimidation, and pressure, and has implemented its sincere promise with unparalleled courage, and great wisdom at the regional and global level.

Hezbollah stressed that Iran's operation achieved its precisely defined military objectives despite the participation of the United States, its international allies, and its regional tools, adding that the long-term political and strategic objectives of this major development will emerge successively and over time, and will establish a new equation for the Palestinian struggle.

The statement also added that the Israeli occupation is on its way to the inevitable defeat at the hands of the Arab and Islamic nations and Palestinian resistance.

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah conducted a series of top-tier operations using a flurry of attack drones, artillery weapons, and guided missiles to hit Israeli targets across the border with occupied Palestine on Saturday.

The Resistance hit Israeli sites, soldiers, and air defense capabilities on a tense Saturday marked by the possibility of an Iranian response to the malicious Israeli attack on the country's embassy to Syria.

The IRGC launched a massive operation late Saturday, targeting the occupation entity with dozens of missiles and drones in response to the attack on Iran's consulate in Damascus last week, which resulted in the martyrdom of seven senior IRGC advisors, including Brigadier General martyr Mohammad Reza Zahedi, the leader of the IRGC's Quds Force in Syria and Lebanon.

In a statement, the Corps said that the operation targeting "Israel," dubbed "True Promise," came following the "silence and neglect" of international organizations regarding the attack on the consulate and the assassination of its senior members. The statement pointed out that the United Nations Security Council also failed to condemn the Israeli aggression or punish the entity in accordance with Article 7 of the UN Charter.

Iran's retaliatory attack on 'Israel' shatters power balance: NYT

A report by the New York Times on Sunday detailed that Iran's recent retaliatory attack on "Israel" marked a significant departure from the typical balance of power.

According to writer Jin Yu Young, Iran's weaponry displayed a higher level of sophistication and range than initially expected.

While "Israel" had been accustomed to facing relatively short-range and less advanced rockets from the Palestinian resistance, Iran introduced weapons capable of traveling much farther and faster.

The arsenal deployed by Iran included drones and missiles, with some possessing significantly extended ranges compared to previous attacks encountered by "Israel."

Despite the advanced capabilities of these weapons, "Israel" claimed to have intercepted the majority of the incoming missiles and drones, with assistance from US forces.
