In a letter expressing unwavering commitment, the fighters of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah reaffirmed their allegiance to Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem, highlighting their steadfast dedication to the movement's objectives and path of Resistance.

Addressing Sheikh Qassem as their "trusted leader", the fighters described themselves as "the children of the path of the oppressed" and "the legacy of our beloved, the sacred martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah," underscoring their determination to uphold the principles of the late Hezbollah leader.

They emphasized their role as the "soldiers of God" and the "right hand" of their leadership, committed to defending their people against "enemies of God and humanity."

The Resistance recalled the great martyrs and leaders of Hezbollah and the Resistance in Lebanon, from leader Sayyed Moussa al-Sadr to Sheikh Ragheb Harb, Sayyed Abbas al-Moussawi, and Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, pledging to maintain and safeguard the path of resistance for as long as attaining liberation could take.

The letter further declared the fighters' readiness, citing an arsenal of weaponry and surveillance drones ready to fight their adversaries. They assured Sheikh Qassem, "With our strength, we will shatter the dreams of every aggressor," pledging to protect their people and come out victorious.

In a closing vow, the letter reaffirmed the fighters' pledge to continue following Hezbollah's path, honoring the "sacred mission" entrusted to them, and keeping Hezbollah's banner "raised in the fields of jihad."

Hezbollah's Shura Council announced in late October that it had elected Sheikh Naim Qassem as the party's Secretary-General, succeeding the Master of the Ummah's martyrs Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. This decision, "grounded in the principles of true Islam and the steadfast ideals of Hezbollah, follows the party's established procedures for selecting the Secretary-General," according to Hezbollah's statement.

Hezbollah expressed its commitment to upholding the legacy of Sheikh Qassem's predecessor, describing the election as part of a sacred mission.

"We pledge to God Almighty, to the soul of our beloved martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah (may God be pleased with him), to the martyrs, to the Islamic Resistance fighters, and to our resilient and loyal people, to work together to fulfill Hezbollah's principles and goals."

Hezbollah emphasized the organization's dedication to carrying forward the cause of resistance. The Shura Council expressed its hope for Sheikh Qassem's success in leading Hezbollah, entrusting him with the responsibility of preserving the movement's resistance and raising its banner until victory.

The text of the letter in full is translated below:

From those stationed on the frontlines to the guardian of the path and blood of the [former] Secretary-General, His Eminence, Sheikh Naim Qassem, Secretary-General of Hezbollah—may God protect and guide you—peace, mercy, and blessings be upon you.

O' Sheikh and the trustee of our leader, we are the children of the path of the oppressed, the echo of Imam Musa al-Sadr's call among the deprived. We are the weapon and stance of Sheikh Ragheb's resistance, the vision of martyr Sayyed Abbas, the victories of July and April, the liberation, and the men of God and the victorious soldiers of [Sayyed] Nasrallah. We carry the legacy of our beloved, the sacred martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah—may God bless his soul—and we are his trustees and his true promise.

O' noble Sheikh, today we stand as your right hand, your resolute decision, your fulfilled promise, and your precise arrow aimed at the enemies of God and humanity. Take from us a vow and pledge of victory. We have drunk from the cup of certainty and duty with confidence. We, Sheikh, are those who braved the sea and will dive into its fierce waves to tame the beast and reign it in. We are the men of resilience; cast your gaze to the farthest reaches—your wager will not fail. And leave the sea becalmed, for they are certainly an army bound to drown.

Your Eminence, you know that we have prepared enough salvoes [of rockets and missiles] and drones for our enemy, and this is our arsenal, our troops, and what our Lord has empowered us with, which strikes fear into our enemy. With our strength [inherited from Imam Hussein], we will shatter the dreams of every aggressor, traitor, and deluded one, and we, hand in hand with our people, shall foil the schemes of our enemies, gripping our hands around their throats and returning with victory, God willing.

O' noble Sheikh, we declare, in the name of all our jihadist formations and from the heart of every Islamic Resistance fighter, our renewed allegiance to your Eminence. We reaffirm our commitment to God, His Messenger, and Ahl ul-Bayt, peace be upon them, by adhering to the path of our most revered martyr, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah—may his abode be in heaven. We work to achieve his goals of supporting the oppressed and defending our people and homeland, protecting the accomplishments paid for with the blood of martyrs, and moving forward with insight on the path of resistance to liberate the land and drive out the invaders.

Your Eminence, this sacred path is a trust upon our shoulders, and the banner of Hezbollah will continue to wave within our hearts and on the battlefields of jihad as an irrevocable promise. May the peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.
