Hezbollah MP: No tolerance for targeting of civilians
Lebanon's Loyalty to the Resistance MP Hassan Fadlallah speaks at the funeral procession of three martyrs who fell in an Israeli airstrike on Bin Jbeil.
Hezbollah "will not tolerate the targeting of civilians," member of the Loyalty to the Resistance Parliamentary bloc, MP Hassan Fadlallah stressed on Wednesday.
The MP emphasized that the Resistance faction would respond to any crime committed by the Israeli occupation of Lebanese territories. His remarks come just after Israeli occupation forces launched an airstrike on a house in the Lebanese in Bint Jbeil, killing three members of the Bazzi family.
Fadlallah spoke at the funeral procession of the three martyrs who fell victim to the air raid, where he affirmed that the town of Bint Jbeil "will not be shaken by this crime, as we are determined to stick to the path of resistance."
It is worth noting that the town of Bint Jbeil saw a historic battle in the Israeli war on Lebanon in 2006, where only a small number of Resistance fighters forced the withdrawal of the infamous Israeli Golani Brigade.
Moreover, the Lebanese lawmaker stressed South Lebanon's commitment to the choice of resistance against the Israeli occupation, saying that it "will not be able to break our will, especially in this region."
First attack on Bint Jbeil in 17 years
Tuesday's aggression also marks the first time that the Israeli occupation has attacked the town in 17 years, marking a significant escalation on the part of the Israeli occupation.
Ali Bazzi, Ibrahim Bazzi, and Ibrahim's wife, Shourouq Hammoud, were martyred in an Israeli strike on the house they were staying in. The Israeli occupation forces launched their attack on Bint Jbeil at 11 PM (local time), targeting civilian homes in the center of the town.
It is worth noting that Ibrahim resided in Australia and that he had just recently arrived in Lebanon to escort his wife back to Australia.
