Hezbollah's capabilities has Israeli deterrence in desperate straits
The Israeli newspaper Haaretz reflects on Hezbollah's growing capabilities that have, thus far, undermined "Israel's" deterrence.
The Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported on the increasing threat Hezbollah's drones is posing to "Israel”, noting the Resistance group’s success in challenging the occupation's anti-air system. Simply, it does not have “a complete answer to the almost daily launch of drones."
In an article by military affairs correspondent, Yaniv Kubovich, the newspaper confirmed that “the Israeli army still has not found the [right] way to deal with the threat of [Hezbollah's] drones,” which “are wreaking great destruction in the north, crushing the sense of security of tens of thousands of settlers, who are scared to return.”
The newspaper explained that Hezbollah’s drones played a role in creating “an equation for a military organization fighting a regular army,” stressing that Hezbollah - thanks to the technology and precise weapons it possesses – “has turned into a smart army with neat capabilities that enable it to collect intelligence and carry out attacks in a way that threatens the Israeli army and vital infrastructure."
In this context, it stressed that the fact that Hezbollah possesses precise weapons, such as drones, en masse, “the concept of classic defense has been taken away from Israel.” This concept relies primarily on regional defense, geographic and strategic depth, and high walls and physical obstacles against the adversary.

‘Hezbollah ever-learning’
Furthermore, Haaretz stressed that the capabilities that Hezbollah currently possesses “has Israel’s strategic balance of power in confronting its enemies in desperate straits.”
It also pointed out that Hezbollah "has demonstrated a continuous learning ability since the beginning of the war” and knows how to identify positions where the Israeli army's radars are faulty; i.e. having difficulty detecting what it [Hezbollah] launches.
Haaretz further emphasized that Hezbollah has exhibited, since day one, the extensive experience it had accumulated throughout the war on Syria, which enabled it to improve its capabilities and build an organized operational concept for its drone system, rendering it successful in challenging the Israeli army’s air defense system.
The Israeli newspaper cited a senior Israeli security source who confirmed that Hezbollah's ability to carry out precise attacks and in sudden directions, along with its firepower, drones, and cruise missiles, constitutes "a real threat to the air defense system."
To conclude, it maintained that Hezbollah will focus more on attacking the occupation's civilian economic infrastructure and military targets with precision munitions, adding that the mass evacuation of settlers from the North rendered the empty settlements that Israeli soldiers entered as legitimate targets for Hezbollah.
